I remember coming in from a night on the ale and you'd stay up and watch James Whale in the small hours and that's where I first saw Charlie. Walking around with a piece of 2by4 as a walking stick, shouting effingbough and telling bizarre jokes that wouldn't make the inside of a Christmas Cracker. Good times.
