Congrats! I was tracking the car daily before it got here lol. I have pics of the ship at the ports via cctv. Please double check with your CA that they ordered it correctly. I got a few grand off mine because they messed up and I was SALTY. I took it because they didn't know when they would get another allocation and it was minimum 6-8 mos before they would get another. Now I am salty they are not doing the halos anymore. I wanted to do the last manual and then keep forever. I want to see the new headlights in person first. Mine is 2023 so it will still be a few years. Good luck with your car. Curious to see how you like CCBs long term. They might just show up on my next one👀

I currently own an e92 M3 and a 2020 x7 m sport for the family. Have had a 2011 x5m, and a yas marina manual 2018 f80 m3. I bought a Lexus ES 300h to commute, but after 4 months I'm potentially going to get a g80 manual white with orange interior to commute onstead! With carbon buckets. Been watching your videos to get hyped !

Awesome to hear! Definitely take your time when finding one. If you're looking to make big Power, then go with a all-wheel drive system. I personally am not trying to make the most power out there, so have any manual transmission for me is a lot of fun. Another thing to consider is the resale value on the all-wheel drive currently is holding better value than manuals. But in the future I think the manual transmissions will do better since there is not a lot of them as compared to the ZF 8 speeds

@@TheDailyDriven thanks for the advice!! I’m def not looking for big power. I haven’t modded my F80 cause it’s just enough power for the streets (my commute to work and back home lol). I really want a manual. It’s hard to find that perfect spec though! I have time so I’m not worried.

Isle of Man Green and Portimao Blue are my two favorite G80 colors🤌🏾 Those two colors with a hint of carbon fiber parts really make them stand out. The only thing I wish the G80 had is the 2021 F90 front end. Those headlights would have looked way better on the g80

Unfortunately all the colors in this video are not Factory colors. You will have to pay a premium for the special colors. BMW calls it an individual color

So why not manual? Everyone here seems to prefer the auto because of the AWD. I don't imagine the manual is a slouch though just not the same acceleration off the line. Other than that I would have thought manual would be more popular. I'm on the fence. I'd like a manual because that's what I know how to drive but I could use awd for practical reasons (I live in a mountainous area where awd would actually be useful parts of the year). Just curious why people prefer the auto is all.

To be honest, I think one of the major reasons why is that a lot of people care about power, some don’t know how to drive a manual, and some care about the resale value. I do agree the manual transmission isn’t perfect, but it is more engaging than just using your right foot to hit that skinny pedal

@@TheDailyDriven Ahh okay. I was genuinely surprised watching you go through the interviews in the video. I wasn't expecting that. I got no problem with either really. Go with what you like/know etc. Your car, your choice kind of thing. But I was surprised that every interview was an auto. For me, it's a real sacrifice kind of choice because of the terrain which makes it such a difficult decision. Stock, how much quicker is the auto? I mean it can't be night and day overall surely? I understand off the line but around the track surely the differences wouldn't be night and day. Cheers for the video super cool.

Ill chime in on the baby. Mine turned 4 two weeks ago. Its HARD. That's why it took forever for me to get my m3. Love my g80 and she has a dedicated car seat in back at all times. "Da-da's dream car" is what she calls it. Biggest piece of advice for the both of you is to be in the present. They grow up REALLY fast especially if you don't have more. Spend as much time as you can with them. They are only little once. She has gone with me to Bmw events in the area (Philly).

I’m debating getting a G80 M3 base, i need my manual back. How’s the back seat room with a car seat? Is it enough room, or not quite? That’s the only thing that’s really holding me back. I’ve got a 3yr old and a 6 month old, so car seats are a huge dealbreaker for me. They GOTTA fit and be comfortable
