MORE SOLO STUFF + AN UPDATE! - Putt Putt Goes to the Moon (Part 1)

To clarify on the update a bit: 1. We're not slowing down on PB&Jeff updates or anything like that. I just want to continue doing some solo stuff for the people who used to enjoy them. 2. Jeff and I make decisions on PB&Jeff together. If we were going to make a separate channel (which again, to clarify: we're not planning on doing) it wouldn't be something I decided on my own. We would do it together. - I know more than anyone how valuable Jeff is to this channel, and I also know that he was the one who helped me grow it to where it is today. Even before PB&Jeff, he edited for the channel when we were growing it from a side, secondary channel, to what it is now. That's why he doesn't just make a check once a month, he earns a % of everything the channel makes. 3. If you're newer and unfamiliar with my usual solo LP's, I don't always play games like Putt Putt. In the past I've played multiple Mario games, Bethesda games like TES and Fallout, and I'm also considering giving some Sonic games a try. But in the end, the solo stuff will, more often than not, be updated less than both PB&Jeff and Hardcore. It's not replacing anything, I'm just bringing it back a bit for those who've missed it. Uhhh... why are people taking this so weirdly?? I'm commander Jeff and I approve of this message. Austin, from the very beginning has always done solo-lp's. I of all people know that, I edited them for years. He just wants to casually sprinkle them in, because... he wants to? People asked for them? Doesn't mean PB&Jeff isn't a thing, I think we'll always keep doing it /recording more as long as people are watching. I think anyone can understand, but possibly not think about the fact that doing a co-op let's play is just generally more fun & ironically easier to produce. You don't have to carry the weight entirely by yourself, you have moments to breath while the other person is saying their things or doing a joke or what have you. Austin likes doing PB&Jeff, just like I LIKE doing PB&Jeff, and I think that shows in the show. For those of you who say we should put it on a different channel, I think you fundamentally misunderstand how much of a setback that actually would be at this point. This channel has, and will probably always be a hub for shows (hence PB&Jeff being on here) for as long as PBG wants it that way. There might be new shows in the future too, we have ideas floating around. We're just here to have some fun and do the thing. I'd agree that PB&Jeff has been the primary show on this channel and that might make some people upset, but that's literally why Peebs made this update... for those people who prefer his solo things and have been asking for something like that. Also as Peebs stated I make a percentage of the channel because I've been around since the EARLY DAYS helping build this behemoth from the low-ish ground up to what it is now. I just kind of am here for whatever the needs are and help out by recording PB&Jeff so we have something to bring to the table every single day (which I think people forget - isn't easy). Hope you guys understand a bit more now though! Thanks for the PASSION, and thanks for watching everything we put out on this channel and for supporting us throughout the years.

To be honest, I love that Austin is keeping his channel this way. This is the way PBGGameplay was always meant to be. I subbed to get all different types of content, not just for one specific show (such as, Hardcore, PB&Jeff, PBG sucks at). Edit: I would love to see a 'My Sims' Let's play!

Just want to say I'm glad you're doing the solos again. Love seeing (hearing?) you and Jeff interact; love hardcore; but I also really like the solo videos. You said in one of the pikmin 2 episodes that you have a little trouble holding a conversation on your own (that makes it sound worse than I'm sure you meant it), but you still manage to do it so well that it's just enjoyable to watch. Honestly, I'm happy with whatever you do on this channel. I love the various series - PBG, PB&Jeff, Hardcore - and enjoy that you mix it up. You'll probably notice with this video that people are either very excited or very unhappy, and that's because of the separate viewership PB&Jeff gained.

I love all of your work, from your main channel videos to all the shows on this channel. I'm excited for every new update. I definitely enjoyed your older Mario let's plays and am looking forward to new ones, but in the end make videos you enjoy and people will enjoy watching them.

I can't believe everyone hating on pbg and calling him selfish. It's HIS channel and this is what the channel originally was. I personally love watching pb and Jeff and find hilarious moments with them together. Plus it gives Jeff more time to work on his channel. Also I doubt there will be a ginormous change from on and Jeff to solo; there will probably still be a lot of pb and Jeff

I am reading all these negative comments and I just really hope PBG sees this. As a real fan of almost everything you've put out (from the original series' on you main channel to your Zelda song collab with yungtown) I have to say that I will support and love everything you do, and I think a lot of people would agree with me. I really hope that PB&Jeff continues a lot because I love that show, but why would we turn down more PBG content? All your stuff is great, don't let the negative comments get you down, just keep creating content because people love it.

Good for you for continuing your solo stuff. I loved your solo stuff back then. In fact, you were the reason why I started watching KZbin. Way back when you were just started. I look forward to Mario Odyssey and hopefully some more Switch games.
