Once again i test the .177 JSB Hades pellet. This time through two more rifles to see if it is still as accurate as the first rifle in the test. Conclusion; good results out to 40 yards even in windy conditions.

Well , I'm gonna have to get some practice in I recon , I'm going to get another tin on the off chance I've got a duffer , unlikely though , I recon it's gorra be me ... Just trying to think what I haven't tried them in yet , I'll have too look through my old targets and record book ... I must say though mark , that is without doubt the most comprehensive test on a single pellet I've ever seen on the tube ... Hats off too you .. BRILLIANT Gonna have a go later with the Hades , after I've stripped my motorcycle down , ready for new parts ...

I liked the acknowledgment of the skill that Si Pittaway brings to air gun use I've followed his vermin hunters channel for a few years, and most of last year he had nothing but people without the same skill set that he has berating him and telling him that most if not all of his long range shots were faked,he wouldn't do it if he didn't have the ability,I personally am like most shooters max range 50 yards on a good day

That shooting is good enough to dispatch the target, live or otherwise.

hi mark,,thats not bad grouping considering the wind blowing around, its a shame because it dosent show the potential of the pellet in their true form, inside range you would be stacking them up on each other,i do think like you say the lothar walther barrels do like jsb pellets in all shapes and forms,i know my lother barrel on my daystate loves them,,nice stuff shame about that bloody wind,👍👍

Get one of those cam magazines for your falcon.. U Don. T use the teeth on the rotation when lording the pellet... Lot smoother then the falcon magazine

Good day. Have you tried those JSB Hades pellets in a magnum spring piston rifle? If so, how do they perform?

Sorry guys but I've seen a lot of tests done on that Hades pellet with a 12 foot pound gun and it is not powerful enough to make the Hades pellet open up like it should so you would be better off just shooting the Dome pellet it is not made for the power of your gun over here in the US they open up great sorry

Need to mostly disagree going by my real world experience, but agree slightly regarding the the tests. I have used a lot of .22 Hades sub12 on squirrels and rabbits they do stop them quicker dont go as deep and sound different on impact (rabbits in particular kick less when they go over more like when hit with .22lr), from recovered pellets sometimes with fur in the head, they deform more than standard domes and you only need to get a bit if fur sinew or bone stuck in one of the cut-outs for it to tumble and penetrate less dump energy faster. Not used any of the .177 yet. All the "tests" I see use soap, gel, water but critters are made from much less consistent stuff. Think if your really after expansion its time to just use .17HMR.
