A train running at 130kmph derailed and went to other line. Another train coming from opposite direction at high speed collided as it didn't have time to respond. Both of the train also collided with a freight train standing static on the side loop. The main question is why did the first train derailed? It doesn't looks like issue with signaling. 😢

This accident happened because there was already a goods train which was stationery and present in the 1st track, here the coromandel express was going in the 2nd track but it suddenly got changed in its track and got in the 1st rail track where that goods train was already there. This caused the coaches of coromandel express to derail and those derailed bogeys spilled out in the 3rd rail line from where a different train was coming at the same time and as a result that train too collided with the derailed train.

Bro drivers can't do much. They just follow signals. Actually this is a human error. The guy operating the signal wrongly gave green signal to the train and so it went ahead and collided with the goods train. The coaches were spread everywhere. At 6.55 pm 2nd Jun in Odisa the coromandel express was running on it's top speed and suddenly went into loop line (track) and gets collided with goods train which was parked. As soon as train collides the coaches gets derail and fall on another main line track, on same time Bengaluru-Howrah SF Express was passing from opposite side and his last 3-4 coaches gets hit by the already fallen caches of coromandel express. Around 288 death and 850 injured. Condolences to the family those affected.

The accident occurred when a passenger train rammed into the derailed coaches of another train near a station in Balasore and.. then collided with a goods train, damaging several coaches. According to national railway officials, the anti-train collision system called "Kavach" was not installed on the route where the tragic collision took place. Railway authorities are currently implementing the installation of "Kavach", a preventive system designed to avoid train collisions, across the entire railway network. The shield acts as a warning mechanism, which is activated when a train operator violates the signal, which is a major cause of train accidents. The system has the capability to immediately inform the train operator, control the brakes and automatically stop the train if it detects another train within a specified distance on the same track. We bring plans and technology very well but fall short in implementing them everywhere with the required speed. Rest In Peace 😢
