Hello Nick. Though this would interest you. Hua performed the song Bullfighting again in Singer 2020 (which he won). He said these words before starting singing. “I think it’s after recording Singer 2018. It was the fifth year after my debut. As time goes on, my thoughts turn towards my relation to the world at large. The more I think more about the subject, the more I place myself in the third person view when I’m looking at something. In this song, I sing about an actual bullfight. I watched one in person. As an audience, my personal opinion is that bullfighting; it’s not thrilling, not rousing. It’s a contradiction. An amazing piece of art from Hua Hua. Hua saw a bullfight in Spain and was very disturbed by it. As a result of this experience, came the song and the MV. His hope is always that his music and message will change and encourage people to be/do better....to love and treasure all life and not destroy it. The necklace he tore off, he placed it in a heart-shaped red light. I love, love Hua's heart and soul. He is brilliant and has such a tender heart. His music touches me deeply. Thank you for a really great reaction Nick, I was looking forward to it and you did not disappoint!. I am so pleased that this one got cleared fairly quickly. I think most people have pretty much answered your questions, it is a really powerful song that is based partly on his love of nature, dislike of bullfighting (which he saw in Spain once), and his life philosophy, but has the double of being about how his treatment at the hands of some very aggressive "anti-fans" The bull is also an allegory for himself. I can see a lot of calls for Seven Personalities, this is an amazing piece, real performance art in fact! It is also a song that he said he finds emotionally difficult to perform due to the way he lives out his songs on stage. I think you would like his original song Madhouse or the adaptation of Skateboard shoes that he did, for something different you could try his duets, either Nanping Evening Bell With Su Shi Ding or The Idiot with Ma Lu (he was their mentor on a show & arranged the tracks for them) ... I could recommend stuff all day as so much of his work is just different. I've never had an artist surprise me so many times as Hua Hua has. Keep up the great work! 🌺🌺

It's an Anti Bullfighting song. Nurturing something or love from a tiny thing, and then destroying it. It's about Humanity destroying our planet. There's a video which is very clear in the meaning as it went out with the MV. Hua Chenyu collaborated very closely with the Director to make sure his intentions came over. Worth checking out the MV.

The high pitched voice was a pre-recorded section by Hua Hua. He has said Bullfighting was the hardest song he composed, to find the hook. He doesn't write the lyrics but he has lyricists do rewrites until they say EXACTLY what he wants. Some of his lyricists are amazing poets. Try something totally different... "Contra in the Wild". It's an acoustic version of hid electronic "Codename Contra" which in turn was written in 24 hours, simply from the plink plonk sounds of Contra video Game.

I would only add that HuaHua said that, in the end, it should be clear that the bull, the bullfighter, and the audience are all victims of this process. It's a perfect metaphor for the way humans have caused the extinction of so many animals, and, even worse, we have destroyed the very planet we live on, which will kill us. I subscribed.
