The Correios competition registered a 40% abstention rate in the tests and more than 1 million candidates showed up for the exams. Check out the numbers!
The Correios competition tests, held last Sunday, the 15th, registered a total of 671,308 absentees. This number represents an abstention rate of 40.15% of the applicants for all positions, at intermediate and higher levels.
In total, just over 1.6 million candidates were expected to take the tests, which took place normally throughout the country.
According to the Brazilian Post Office, 1,000,692 candidates showed up to take the exam, totaling 59.85% of those registered.
The company has not yet released the statistics on absences by position or region.
In a statement published by the state-owned company, CEO Fabiano Silva celebrated the successful completion of the exams, after more than a decade without a public exam at the company.
“We are happy to be able to competently and calmly conduct the exams for this public exam. We have waited 13 years since the last selection process for the state-owned company. With the increase in staff, our company is now better equipped to execute the strategic projects that are bringing innovation to the Brazilian Post Office and, thus, comply with the directive of President Lula's government to provide efficient services to the Brazilian people, wherever they are,” said Fabiano Silva.
Official answer keys released for the Brazilian Post Office exam
Candidates who took the exams for the Brazilian Post Office exam can now check the preliminary official answer keys, which were released by the IBFC, the organization responsible for the selection process.
To check, simply access the exam board's website and click on "Candidate Area" on the main tab.
Then, the candidate must fill in the CPF and password fields to access the preliminary answer sheet and the objective test question booklet.
Anyone who does not agree with the answers may file an appeal from 10 am on Monday, the 16th, until 5 pm on Wednesday, the 18th.
