I was waiting for your review of the A55 and honestly it made me even more torn between it and the base S22 for the same price. I prefer smaller phones in general but i don't know I've heard several complaints about the S22. Anyway thank you and keep up the great work!

The awesome lilac colour is sure to steal many hearts💜💗 ok...maybe Samsung phones are not that stylish, but this phone easily stands out of the crowd due to its colour. You know, I'm currently using last year's Galaxy A34 in the lime colour, and in my family, I'm the only one who owns a lime-coloured phone💚 and I like to show off the colour by removing it's cover. And if i had this phone in Lilac colour, it would be so much more fun.😅 BUT AS ALWAYS, NICE REVIEW👍

That's a beautiful color Jen I think Samsung should bring out more vibrant colors. The Camera's are ok little bit stuttering but could be improved with software updates but i love that color.

Get an older flagship like the galaxy s22 ultra or s23 refurbished for a similar price. Instead of a55, a phone dirt cheaper like the s20 fe or as old as note 10+ beats the galaxy a55.

@CRAB.. obviously, but for overseas, the s10 s20 series is a nice alternative. Although I would recommend the s21 series, basically, I'm just stating how good flagships are to a point 5 years later it still beats mid ranger phone in gaming and gives you flagship feature mid range phone won't ever receive. The s21 series are getting 2 galaxy AI feature which isn't coming on mid range so the s21 series is a valuable recommend.

I'm not saying you should buy the s10e or s20 fe, only those who live overseas, and the truth is other than software support and the lack of 120hz on the s10e and battery life it beats the galaxy a55 in every single way plus snapdragon chips are better optimized, SD 855 was such a signficant jump from the 845 it still tends to show its relevance 5+ years later, I don't see the phone become sluggish anytime soon you can literally use it in 2026 7 years later and it will be running strong would be interesting to see the s24 7 years later as it's tend to be supported this long, this showcases you samsungs ability and thar there phones are fully prepared to get 7 os updates.

Bezels could be reduced but Samsung has to make differences between A and S. Not beautiful but most people will forget about it if the phone do the job 😉. A lot of geeks and fan of Chinese brands hate this Galaxy A55 but most regular users, it's perfectly fine : 3-4 years of basic uses with good overall build quality, OneUi, 🆗 primary camera and 🆗 performance and battery life and long term support.

This iPhone user bought an A55 a month ago. I find some things clumsily implemented, such as filling ID and passwords in apps. I could have tolerated it, but I bought it in Mexico and, 1. Unlike Apple's global warranty, Samsung offers a warranty ONLY in the country of purchase, and 2. it was, I discovered, almost completely incompatible with cell networks in the USA. So, I gave it to a Mexican fraulein.
