It took this painful version to get me to fully appreciate Gary Cherone as a singer. Not only does he have a beautiful falsetto but it is the harmony of Gary and Nuno's voices that brought out the beauty in this song. Those two are an unbeatable combo. But Nuno has said Steven Tyler absolutely loves this song.

Celso Arias Acredito que não seja questão de comparação, até porque não tem como comparar as duas bandas claro que Aerosmith está muito acima de Extreme, no entanto, nessa versão cantou mal Steven Tyler, quanto a qualidade do Cherone está longe de ser desprezível, muito pelo contrário. Basta ver o Tributo ao Freddie Mercury onde o Cherone canta de maneira irrepreensível Love of my life. Ele canta uma muito bem uma música de uma banda muito superior ao Aerosmith e quanto a magnífica qualidade vocal do Freddie Mercury nem podemos pensar em comparar ao Tyler, covardia.

Agreed. Gary may be better for this song when paired with Nuno for harmony reasons, since it was they who sang it first, and in a completely different style than Tyler to begin with. However, very few people can come close to Tyler in general. He has perfect pitch and can sing just about anything you throw at him. And the range he has, even at his age is still undeniably incredible!

I was raised on Rock n roll, man and I'm very proud to say that, and I love all of Aerosmiths music, especially the slower ones because in those Steven usually lets go on the vocals. The fact is... the both of them are upper echelon of vocalists. Both Resume's are ridiculous... Aerosmith is probably the best two guitar band from America in the 70's. Those guys changed rock and roll. ... and influenced guys like Gary ad mark Cherone. The thing we both missed ... is that nuno is the one harmonizing with gary. nuno = ridiculous. He's probably one of the most talented people on the planet! I am seeing them on the 21st in boston. pretty pumped about it. I saw them last year at hampton beach Nh. They blew me away!!! Gary is a beast! he is all over the stage!! And he never misses a note or a lyric! NEVER off Pitch! Their crew is top of the mark!!! They perform their asses off!!! I'm very lucky to be close friends with Pat Badger's former tech. Extreme is sacred to us.... He also toured with Big Wreck. if you don't know them... check em out! be well my friend! you're right...music is great! You keep rockin as well!

They are always knocking him in the press. Treating him like he's a side show. Remember when he fell of the the stage a few years ago cyjazz? Well, as the press reported, his bandmates got on the buses and went home. Not one of them stopped in at the hospital to see if he was alright. That was low brow. Joe Perry mocks him all the time. Unrelentingly. To me, he looks like a bully. I'm sure Steven Tyler can be hard to deal with sometimes. We all have our ups and downs. But if the guys in Aerosmith have that many problems with him....retire. Stop using him as a paycheque.

I never liked Perry or Hamilton by their looks, but I thought of Whitford as a nice guy. All stars may be hard to cope with sometimes (let Paul Gilbert and Satriani aside!!) but aren't we all similarly difficult from time to time? To me Aerosmith without Tyler would have been just another Hard Rock band, so he should be treated with at least some respect.
