Glad the TB test went great. Happy you had help and all are save and healthy. Tractor problem just mite be the battery post may need a good cleaning. Check the main ground lead too where it connects to the engine. Hope your holiday comes soon..have fun

Good News on the all clear , please take care when hitching up trailer's that way as they can roll back or forward , some have been pinned between tractor and trailer , I appreciate your capability but a pick up hitch or a 9 hole bar fitted to linkage may work better, can I uncover my eyes now ,😃 enjoy your Holiday.

Good video,a little tip ,put jumping leads straight on starter motor and by pass battery.

If you put positive jump lead directly on to starter and negative on to the frame of tractor can save yourself a lot of hassle at times, easier than getting to the battery on a lot of tractors

May I suggest you get a ' nine hole drawbar ' to lift the trailer ? It's basically a metal bar that goes between the lift arms and would be better and safer than the rope method. Have fun in the sun.

On them 300 range there is a safety switch if the P.T.O lever is in gear they will not start

Tutorial on starting tractors, step No1 turn the key to on position lights should come on, step 2 turn key to start position , if the lights on the dash go out while in start position this means bad connection between the battery poles and the clamp or low power in the battery, also it is not necessarily to use two leads from the donor tractor to the recipient tractor. One positive lead from the donor tractor battery to the recipient tractor battery the negative can go from the chassis of the donor tractor to the chasis of the recipient tractor, eg from step to step

you've had better luck than us with your t.b test ......we've just had another reactor to add to the one we had back in July. Hayho. life still goes on. the problem with jump leads is they don't carry enough current........there a big help if the battery has got some life in it but they don't carry enough current if the battery is completely dead. i got a 390T and that one is a brilliant starter ........it's still got the original starter motor on it, and with the tractor being 30 years old and over 7,000 hours on the clock

for some reason, that frayed blue rope bugs me. cut it off about an inch from the good part and apply some flame to have it melt together. keep a bucket of water handy to dip it when the end has melted together. there...i feel better already.
