It's Round 2 at the estate of an antique collector and I'm digging deep for treasure!
I previously visited this home but they weren't quite ready for me to go through all the contents. This time, I've got no restrictions and I can dig through everything in search of some sweet vintage.
Will this visit upstage my first trip to the house or will it be a bust?
Watch and find out!

I'm partial to the primative pieces. Hubby has a couple of scales very similar to the one here.

Chinese checker marbles are solid colors. There may be some value in that box o marbles. Also, I like you so I am going to give you an obsolete scrapbook tip given to me by my 84 year old antique dealer mentor. I did paper ephemera for many years. You can soak scrapbook pages in the bathtub in lukewarm water, and the glue from the diecuts, postcards, trading and cigarette cards, greeting cards etc. will disengage from the scrapbook paper. Then stack between paper towels magazines and heavy books, changing often, which will blot out the water and keep things flat. The "glue" was most often just flour and water or a water based LaPages....

Thanks for the scrapbook tip! I didn't find any rarer marbles in that little lot but maybe next time!

Looked like maybe a wrought iron sign bracket just before the washtub. If it is, its good for $100+.

Too bad you didn’t get to rescue that old scrapbook with the Victorian cut-outs. Hopefully it will find a good home. You did get the box of old manuals so YEAH! And that pagoda puzzle! Would love to try putting that together. Another really great video! Thanks for sharing!

Nice work! Interested in the 25 cent "shin plaster" you grabbed. Also, was that a blueprint of sorts near the art?
