The 250 A post looks very much like my 6, bad repairs that need addressing, great job mate. As for the start up of Triumph, this is so very true, my dolly always does it over the floor, My TR6 coffs over my tool box that much I've given up cleaning the tool box and when I had my spitfire my parents band me from parking it with the exhaust facing any of there cars lol

Hi Tush, really jealous of the hardtop, I have thought about one for the 6 but I don't think it matches. I am just back from touring in France and saw a 4 fitted with one but it had huge opening flaps in the roof section. Oh it's a great offer as Elin has the 3 could I have the other one the 59 I was born in 59 and that would be fun make a nice historic rally car.

It's always fun starting them after a long hibernation, eh? What a "barn find"!

That TR6 looks as if it was just restored, not 11 years ago! And it's been used... Not just stored and wiped with a towel for 11 years. I will take the TR3 since you are offering. And the bike. And the Alfa. You can keep the wedge :)

I almost feel pity for the previous owner of the 250 how embarrased he must feel watching your videos. Your TR6 looks asome and they are gorgeous cars (I loved my one like.......) but I am also looking forward for the TR3 a model which I still miss and for which I have a soft spot! Good to see they are not only kept in storage!

Where is the snow? Lol. It was 93 degrees F here today. Pouring sweat in the garage. The Tr 6 looks and sounds sweet.

Tush - Interesting that the Capri had what we call 'RO-style wheels (made under licence in the UK by Rubery Owen) but I believe they were styled in the USA? Magnum rings a distant bell. These wheels first appeared (in the UK) on Rover, Range Rover, MG (sorry to swear) and then Ford mid range cars like the Capri and Cortina 1600E - a sort of executive 1600cc car .. Always liked them on road cars but used Minilites on the Rally cars. Can I offer a personal view on the Surrey Top? I would use a Triumph White (like your TR6) to enhance the dark blue of the car itself especially with the black Thong - errr - soft top. MG (Sorry I can't resist and my late Dad did work for them in Oxford) did a white over red hardtop which looked great. In a purely MG sort of way of course ...

cheftush I'll be curious how it fits with the original hardware. I bought one last year but haven't had time to paint it white yet. Funny thing is mine is royal blue!
