You can actually blame a packaging company for the tabs not pulling correctly. The perfs probably have soft cuts or the paperboard is cheap. But it looks like the paperboard is decent from what I can see. It's rare for someone to say something that actually applies to my career lol.

As an African American I ❤ how they chose to diversify their products!It's incredibly disappointing when I see a doll I want but the White version has rhe outfit I want while the Black version has an outfit I don't want. For example I really wanted a Black Barbie that played baseball & a Black Barbie in a pink bunny costume but sadly they only sold the White version of those . As a child I got to play with Black Barbies that were exactly the same as their White version it made me feel like she was equal in every way. This us immensely important to the development of children of color because they're bombarded with negative examples that tell them otherwise

I can understand why you would feel that way! I would absolutely hate not having a doll that I could identify with and as an icon of beauty for my color. As an adult I buy which ever doll I feel has the cutest outfit and don't worry at all about the color of the skin. We are all uniquely beautiful and deserve good /pretty things.

This is so true! I think the only issue here is that this is a blind box scenario so maybe that’s why people were hoping for different designs. I really like the different colors though because you can have them in sets since they’re figurines too, it’s so freakin cute!!

I definitely see what they were going for in terms of representation as I do feel as though children should have equal representation (in this specific context, the same doll with different tones or colors) but I think what’s annoying about this with this brand/series is that they’re mystery boxes, which means if I can theoretically only buy 3, having the same doll with 3 different color palettes is more disappointing than getting 3 unique designs. If you could just pick and choose them outright without a blind box feature I’d be less annoyed with the pallets swaps.

I think what makes the "boy" figures creepy is the fact that their lips are the same color as their skin. It makes their eyes way more prominent on the face.

@@anamationandplaythroughs7501 Similar but not quite. There's a fidget element to each toy/animal. For example there's a monkey, it has pop-its for butt cheeks that can be popped using the monkey's ears, and the tail winds and moves the eyes. Each animal is different. But yea.

The square cheeked ones are definitely my favorites when it comes to the fidgeting, but they're the ones I like the least in looks🙈 though, I am definitely not the target audience for these dolls as I'm not a fan of the way any of them look😅 The Black ones look better than the rest, though! I think my favourite, in matters of looks, is the one with the big sideways ponytail.

I think these are adorable! I don't do fidget toys; I would put them on the dashboard of my car. You can fix the broken noodles with super glue, so get the noodle off the floor and fix it...no need to waste a good toy. Hmmm, think I will get one for the car. Our reaction (because I watched this video with my children) to the one with the monkey noodle breaking on the 1st doll was like “oh no, what a pity!” Then the last dolls monkey noodle hair comes out and we’re excited then….both break off!! I actually like how there are different colours of each version of the doll, so if you hate the colours of one doll say you don't like pink or something you can choose a different or if you wanted you could choose your favorite figdets on a a same (well not same race) but similar race doll if you wanted, as someone who doesn't like certain colours alot I' get frustrated when the fridgets or something I like is in only one colour,

Same! Color is a huge thing in general I'm picky about; if it's something that I look at all the time and the aesthetic matters to me, I won't buy it if it's not a color I like. It's the reason the new motorcycle I put a deposit down on has an unknown arrival date; because I wanted one color out of the 4 it's offered in.
