I have a silver tinsel tree full of old Shiny Brite glass ornaments. I love it. Your old hat collection reminds me of my great grandmother. She always wore a hat, gloves and a brooch pin to church. I have one of her brooches. I treasure it. I’m only putting up one tree this year. It’s decorated with red and white peppermint themed ornaments. It’s in a rotating stand. Love your dog. She wants to sleep inside. Please let her inside when it’s cold. Enjoyed your little tour.

Thank you so much for commenting. have some old vintage gloves & as my hands look older & bad from arthritis I almost wish that gloves would come back in fashion. I have some large red Shiny Brite ornaments that I like to put on our main larger tree. Now that they finished our flooring installation (as of today) maybe I can continue decorating.

Hi La Juan! Hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving. I just had to thank you for showing where you placed your snow family, it looks so nice there!! I think it was the perfect choice. I too loved the different Christmas trees in each room and especially loved the guest room. You have a true treasure in that bed from you husband's Grandfather. I have a similar style bed I just love, but not an heirloom treasure. We had an aluminum tree way back in the day and pink bulbs all around it! My Mom loved pink. The first year we were married there wasn't money for a tree, so we used Moms aluminum tree for a few years. You have a lovely home and a gift of decorating and displaying your old family portraits. Loved the tour!

Yes we had a nice Thanksgiving for sure. I hope you did as well. It’s so wild how we both had silver trees with pink ornaments as children. I still have the little pink ornaments from our tree. I’ll have to show those when decorating our big tree. I’m glad you caught where I placed the snowman family piece. I was afraid you’d think I forgot to share where I placed it. Thanks again for your continued encouragement! 😊
