Picture a KZbin video titled "Vintage Hawaiian Vibes: AI Rendered Scenes & Classic Tunes." It opens with a serene scenes, waves gently crashing against the shore, overlaid with vintage Hawaiian music-perhaps a ukulele melody or soothing slack-key guitar. As the music plays, the video transitions between different AI-rendered images of Hawaiian scenes: palm trees swaying in the breeze, hula dancers gracefully moving to the rhythm, colorful sunsets painting the sky, and perhaps even snippets of old film footage capturing the essence of Hawaii's culture and beauty. The combination of nostalgic music and modern AI imagery creates a captivating journey through the aloha spirit of the islands.

@@negativetype As a Fallout fan who has discovered and found appreciation of a huge amount of music (including this genre) because of Fallout, you'd be wise not to prejudge and stereotype. While there are many songs from the games which became memes, Fallout fans are quite appreciative of the music. It's because the music is put with their fantasy world that they find appreciation for it. And no, you don't have to understand or appreciate the cadence, rhythm, nor any element of music structure or theory. Nobody does that with music they appreciate, unless they're musicians, or serious enthusiasts. It doesn't make sense to hold gamers to some sort of proof. That's like seeing someone wear a Nirvana shirt and then asking them trivia questions to prove they understand what Nirvana really is about, as if to earn the right to wear that shirt. Just let people enjoy things.

@@negativetype What I was saying is that the Fallout series of games may be the only vector in which younger listeners gain initial exposure to this or other genre. It's hard to inspire interest or investigate that interest when you don't even have the words to describe what it is. Unknown unkowns. My initial taste was formed from what my dad listened too, then when I was older from popular media which lead me to investigate the featured bands and genre individually, now I listen to stuff I never would have known about or taken the time to look into had the music and my other interests not intersected. I'll listen to classical (especially guitar), classic country, thrash, jazz, heavy metal, soft rock, punk, edm, pop, synth, easy listening, house, minimalist, folk I didn't appreciate music as more than just sound until I started listening to classical, and doubly so when I started taking the time to read lyrics in the songs I loved, and looking through a bands discography that isn't heard on the radio.

Unbelievable❤ how wonderful;... I like the versions with ambient sound better: wind, birds, waves, the splash of drink that falls into the glass, on the rocks, etc.

I'm sorry, but the music content is too good for the [over loud] interference of waves etc to spoil it. Be content with the scratch from the 78rpm record surface instead!!
@holasoyjose9683
@holasoyjose9683 Ай бұрын
@@stanthesteelguitarman8228 Yes. I am content. Just saying (if you don't mind) what are my preferences. For many people, like me, and for a certain type of music that is used as quiet ambient music, the combination with ambient sound does not spoil the songs, but quite the opposite: that combination results in higher quality music when the listener wants Ambiental music. It has a relaxing effect and greater immersion in the environment, which is why it is proliferating a lot. That doesn't mean that for other purposes the original version without background noise isn't fine. They are simply two versions of the same thing. And I am not criticizing this version at all, which is wonderful, I am just giving the idea that the other version that would be successful for its target audience can also be made.

I do take your point and the main thing is to ENJOY it, especially in the unsettled world around us today. But there are still just a few of us who not only appreciate the music, but play it ourselves too. The "Hawaiian sound" is [or was] not only "relaxing" music as depicted here, but many of the recordings of the 1930s/'40s/'50s offered great jazz content and swing music of the highest order, which you [and others] may never have had the chance to hear. This is why I take the music so seriously. The whole has everything to offer!@@holasoyjose9683

I disagree ... the added ambient sound effects are distracting and really don't add anything.... unless, of course, you like the background effects...and that's fine, too. But, I'm glad for this "just the music" upload.... Though I have to add I'm not a fan of the AI generated images... 7:10...lower right, what Hawaiian Hell is this? Two pairs of legs and no body!! And the bikini gal has two right arms and a right foot on her left leg! 🤣🤣🤣

So nice - especially without the interference of the sound of waves etc! Some surface scratch from the original 78s has been rightly left in, to preserve the ambience/tonal quality of the music. I have found many releases onto vinyl and CD have had the sound of the music muffled by the total elimination of the surface noise from the original, which has always infuriated me!! Thoroughly enjoyed.
