I never intended to make this a 2 week affair, but with all the crazy deals popping up at Walmart, how could I not??? Tons of great deals on console and handheld video games on clearance for super cheap!!! How many more $0.03 games are out there??? Lets roll this out one more week and load up on some hidden clearance!!! Hope you guys are having good luck in your local areas as well finding these games too. It does stink that they don’t make it uniform throughout all stores. I’ve heard a lot of folks from Canada telling me that the cheapest they ever find games up there is around $20. And even those are hard to come by.

@@CincyGameHunting Walmart is weird in Canada when it comes to video games. For exemple, I've never seen an Amiibo in my town's Walmart before. They are $5 to 15$ games, but they are rare and generally not that good. The decent games start at 20$ with most of them costing at least $30.

Awesome finds. A couple more games to be on the lookout for that I recently found at Walmarts on the Switch are: Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remaster ($5), Owlboy ($4), Portal Knight ($4). Also Street Fighter 30th Anniversary on the XBox One and Minecraft on the 3DS were $5 each. None of the price stickers show they were discounted.

I actually found 3 cent games as well. Being in Canada and finding a 3 cent game is awesome because we don't even have pennies anymore. It really trips you up when you see it after using the app to scan for price. I always look at unmarked and even marked games every time I'm in a Walmart now because of your videos. Sadly 505 Games made that version of Control not be eligible for the PS5 upgrade. You need to get the Ultimate Edition of Control to see the PS5 upgrade.

No I knew that this version of Control was not going to have a PS5 upgrade. I was just mentioning that my Xbox version really struggled with frame rate, and I think the extra processing power of the PS5 would help with frame rates, even if just a solid 30 frames per second with no drop... Figure for five bucks it’s worth a shot.

They seem to almost always have stuff on clearance cause they get so much that it dont sell for any reason then instead of sending back they discount or clear it and hope it sells anytime later. i not a gamer much but for media as movies i dont mind score any on the cheap anytime. like blu rays was by chance 5 bucks in past so have scored some i wantd which was combo with dvd so not bad. and other stuff i have scored by chance if want bad enough at time.

I tried to buy 3 cent games at Walmart but when an employee scanned them with a portable scanner and then again at a register it told the employee to claim those items and they couldn’t be sold. Have you ever seen this and how do you get around this? Why is it telling them to “claim” them? Manager said they couldn’t sell them and neither could customer service...

This has just popped up in the last few weeks. Walmart computers are now blocking the sale of three-cent games. I’ve gotten quite a few people message me in the last week or two so I just tested it out at the end of last week, and they are legit blocking sales at Walmart now. I don’t think they were ever supposed to sell games for that price but the loophole was there and employees didn’t know any better, so they decided to make it so the computer would not allow the sale. Definitely a major bummer.

They could be online returns to that store, titles that had SO long fallen out of being ordered there prices by default sunk to that and maybe Walmart has something in their inventory where 3 cents is the minimum for it to be catagorized. An employee once told me that when it gets down to three cents that’s their cue to mail it back to the manufacturer. But it seems like most of the Walmarts in my area are just saying screw it and leaving them on the shelf to be bought. Heck some of the stores are actually advertising the three cent price on the sales rack... Yet then you go to another store across town and the same game is $10-$12.

Walmart app in Canada only shows online prices from walmart. ca so its worthless here, you never find a better deal on there. I just think we have zero hidden clearance too because I tried bringing piles of game to scan on the in-store scanner and none were scanning lower than advertised. Im jealous of US walmarts !

The reason there is such a price difference in Rocket Arena on the Xbox and PlayStation 4 is probably because Rocket Arena was free with Ps Plus a few months ago.

There was a stretch there where they were blocking $0.03 games in the computer. The latest batch seem to be going through, but you gotta make sure that you’re not trying to check out with a manager or some thing because they tend to try to block it anyway even if it’s going in the computer as sellable. I have been very lucky that most of the electronics sections in my area have let me buy the games without any problems. Some areas they’re more strict about it. I have heard from some people that you can ask for a clam shell security case, So that you can continue shopping and check out upfront to avoid somebody trying to confiscate. All the ones that I’m posting on my Instagram and Twitter right now are ones that are getting through the computer with no problem. You just got to get lucky with the right employees. Yeah the reason they’re doing this is they don’t want to price match because they’re greedy that’s why they doing it. Because I tried to pick up the Spyro on Friday, and they had it online for 5 dollars. And I tracked it in the store. And they rang it up for dollars and they started looking at the game and price, and they said they could sell it to me for 5 dollars, and I said why it’s 5 dollars and they said it was pricing error, and said I want to speak to your manger, and he said okay then the manager came over and he said the same thing. We don’t sell anything for 5 dollars are lowest priced games are 20 dollars then saw sonic unleashed, and it was 9.99. That’s when I realized Walmart’s run by idiots.

It’s funny that you mention this because you’re the second person in about an hour but his message to me about this. I have had one occasion, in all of the Walmart trips that I have made, where they would not sell me all the three cent games that I was finding. And even in that store they let me have at least one of them. Now I know that different parts of the country may act differently but I don’t know if this is Walmart corporate stepping in and telling their employees not to do it anymore or what. In your instance were the games locked away in the glass case or were they out on display that you could take up front?

But as you said you took them up front as well and still got hassled I honestly haven't found any new $0.03 games in a month or two myself. Watch Dogs 2 came up as $0 and they wouldn't sell it to me for the clearance sticker price of $6...

You might be able to find some stuff at your local Walmart but don’t expect to find any three cent games anymore. They have started to block the sale of three cent games. You might get lucky and find a $5 or $10 game here and there. Keep your eyes out for 3DS games. Those have been popping up most often for cheap.

The cases alone are worth 3© Even if nfl,nba,FIFA,nhl and Madden aren't. Just bought 4 copies of nba 18 for 3© and 1 FIFA 17 for 7© to replace grimmy cases on used actually good fun games I bought previously. 20© tax and all too replace 5 cases in my PS4/Xbox one collection well worth it and the nonsense sports games went in the trash cases and even if their not worth anything in trade credit I'm satisfied

That game is much too new to be on clearance at any Walmart. It may be a while before you find it cheap. I will say though that Walmart usually charges about $10 less than any other store if you go and buy it in the store itself compared to other stores. Their in-store price is usually even better than their online price...

These kind of clearance deals have to be found in store. Every Walmart store has different in store prices. The online price is never the same as what you can find it for if you go to the store itself. There have been a few instances where I scanned a game and checked out the online price and it somehow became cheaper online, but it’s very rare

If it scans on the app for three cents it will scan at the register for three cents. Whatever the app says is what it will currently go for at that store. Walmart is notorious for not changing their price tags on the shelves. You can even scan the price tag through the glass and see if the price is legit

They do, but it’s not very common anymore. You can get very lucky though finding some older GEN stuff for super cheap. A lot of the more popular Xbox 360 games are still on shelves because of backwards compatibility with the modern consoles.

I think that is one of the few things that I actually do flip once in a while, sports games that are ridiculously priced. I find them all the time in the thrift stores for a couple bucks apiece.

I don’t know of any specific time that is best. I do know that there are some Walmarts in my area that don’t partake in the discounts. I would definitely shop around different stores if you have the option, as some stores are much better then others...

There is a scanning tool on the top of the Walmart app when you load it up. You need to make sure that it can track your location though, otherwise it won’t know which store you are actually in.

You need to make sure that your Walmart app is recognizing your location. A lot of times people decline letting apps see their location. If it is recognizing your location, then when you start the app up it should welcome you to that store after you get into it. The screen should also turn from gray background to yellow I believe.

Also not every store is going to have a lot of deals. I was just in a couple of them on the East Coast and I couldn’t find anything on clearance. It’s very hit and miss on which stores are partaking in the clearance deals. I want to say about 80% of the ones in Cincinnati are doing it but there are a token few that are just not clearancing anything out

It’s literally just the Walmart app. You need to make sure that the app can track your location so it knows which store you are in. When you open the app it should welcome you to that store and then you can scan anything in the store, and find out what that stores prices are for it. Prices at every Walmart are different. The scanner button is right next to the search tool at the top of the app.

I just use the Walmart app when I’m in the store to scan games. I occasionally will look up certain games on brickseek.com to see if they are on sale anywhere around me as well.

The Walmart app has a scanning option. When you go into the store you can either scan the UPC label on the back of the game or the price tag through the glass of the case if it’s locked away. I have come to find though that most of the best deals come from games that are sitting on the bottom of the shelving unit that are unmarked.

Anybody can get those prices as long as they find them in the store. But like I said every Walmart is different with the prices so you need to make sure you scan the games to see how much they are with the Walmart app. Also you need to make sure that the app recognizes your location so that I can find out which store you’re in. Otherwise it will just give you the online prices

Microsoft 120 a year lol that was a mistake...good thing they retracted from that. I’m a current gen collector. I try to get my current gen stuff by flipping old gen stuff... I have 4 switches(two switch lites, two v2, 2 pros one with a two tb installed and a 2nd with a 1TB SSD in it, two VRs one 2nd Gen and other 1st, ps5, 2 new 3Ds xls and two new 2DS xls...Wii u black with about 50 Wii/Wii u games all scratchless some sealed, over 300 + games for PS4 some sealed, over 100+ switch games some sealed, I’m at 15 ps5 games now... All by trading selling and fixing...I got my ps5 from trading up from a n64 box with all inserts and manuals took a little over a year but I had timed it perfectly. I wish I took footage of everything but I didn’t... Love you vids man.
