I wouldn't be surprised if it was some sort of citizenship thing - because that was mentioned when she was a candidate. Another dual citizenship issue that plagued Ted Cruz. I think she was born in Canada and not sure if her parents were native-born or naturalized. It would make a difference. Cruz's mother was a native-born American, even though he was born in Canada. John McCain was born in Panama, but his parents were both native born.
