I hate to be the one to say it but if thats a flux core welder runnin on 110 it is not up to the task of welding a frame. Its not safe. You need a stick welder or a 220 mig with shielding gas. Not trying to be negative, i dig your channel. Just a genuine safety concern

It is indeed running 220 with co2 shielding gas. I agree 120 flux core would be a little unsafe!

If you drill an 1/8 inch hole at the bottom of the crack it won't travel.
