There’s 19 countries in Africa that have french as official language. Same as the amount of countries in the Americas that have Spanish. It’s because there’s 5 countries that have it as official language in Europe (France, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Monaco) and a couple in the Americas (Canada and Haiti) and one in the pacific islands (Vanuatu) that make the difference.

I just looked up about the French or Spanish language question, since it seemed so wrong. The question basically asked, "what OFFICIAL language is in more countries, Spanish or French". They didn't ask what the most spoken was. Spanish is native in 20 nations, while French is native in 27 nations. So yes, Spanish is spoken considerably more globally, but is spoken in less countries than French. That question was annoying to me as well , that I had to look it up.

It's actually pretty easy. The square root of 3 squared is just, 3. The square root of 4 is 2. (square root is just "what number times the same number equals this number. I.e. 2x2=4 therefore it is 2. 3 squared is just 3x3=9, meaning that the square root of that is... 3). I recall learning this pretty early in my schooling. Idk if it was 2nd grade, but it was likely around that time. It's not taught in DEPTH in 2nd grade for sure, but I am relatively certain it was at least briefly covered for the easier ones (such as the ones in the question)
