Other things for everyone to remember: your jump move can also use ki blast different depending on if you hold or tap during the jump! EVERY character has a different type like aoe, slower speeds but better tracking, etc. Some characters like bojack can PARALAYSE you for free ults or whatever! You can use a jumping attack downwards and some people to a ground slam! Theres special interactions in the game like master roshis sunglasses being able to block solar flares until destroyed, or the scouters can see opponents farther depending on the rarity of it! Btw, use super perception to deflect beams away and gain a buff for 3x the ki charge! Useful for androids and slower charging characters If you spam the block button when small ki blast are coming at you or hold it while flying! you deflect them and gain gauge for skills and transformations! You can charge heavy attacks left and right as well! Charging a heavy attack has 3 different versions and a perfect charge makes the character IMMEDIATELY teleport BEHIND and get a launch for a combo starter! You can use your Ki button + up on the left stick to g grab DOWNED enemies, throw them and continue a combo! Every character has a different type of moveset depending on how you press your attack button and ki button afterwards! THERE'S MODS IN SPARKING ZERO! ALL MAPS FOR CO-OP SPLIT SCREEN ARE HERE! CJ, SHREK, AND OTHER FEATURES ARE HERE!

I know it’s hard for ME to do certain inputs fast and/or accurate enough, let alone remember button inputs for combos, BOTH of which are imperative for certain games. In all honesty I would check your assist controls and turn off Guard assist if you have it on and turn ON Recovery assist so you dont have to mash to recover sometimes where your able to. If you still have trouble comboing you can turn ON combo assist, but i turn that off for my preference. You could also try classic controls to see if that control scheme works better for you.

Incase anyone is wondering, the reason he was struggling with inputtting the ultimate is because the game has a weird system where the character will go into a block instead of doing the ultimate if you try to do it by itself. But, if you use the ultimate after launching your opponent/stunning them, it activates as you would expect. basically the game telling you that you should actually setup a combo to garunteee a hit instead of just wasting your ultimate.

it is debated with off ssg (red) or ssgss (blue) is stronger but it really comes down to what you want, for example. ssg takes on a more slim and trimmed look to glide through the air and throw punches and kicks in higher speeds but not as much damage, but ssgss is the opposite off ssg and prioritizes power instead of speed making it the "better" option, but its all up to personal preference (i like ssg more hehe)
