Gentefied is a great under rated Netflix show. It's about the latinx community in east LA (I think? the locations are pretty abstract as a British gal) dealing with gentrification. It's eye-opening and heartwarming and hilarious!

I will say, as Disney sequels go, Lion King 1.5 is legit. Very funny, self-referential moments.
Timon and Pumba making jokes most of the time; my favorite scene I remember was them doing something, then you see the tower of animals from "I Just Can't Wait to be King" in the background of the shot. Pumba says, "Hey, I wonder what that is?" They both look at it, shrug, and continue on with whatever they were doing. All these little bits of the original are woven through in very funny ways.

Baking tipp! Anything baked with yeast dough can be frozen. So if you're alone, you can bake some cinnamon buns or whatever and just get them out of the freezer, pop them in the microwave for ca 30 seconds and you've got some freshly baked goods and, most importantly, don't have to eat everything at ones.

Philip Pullman! Never listened to the audiobooks, verrrrry curious about them now you've pitched them. They're bigger in the UK than here as you'd expect, so I never heard of the audiobooks whereas I have heard of the Jim Dale and the Stephen Fry Harry Potters. I love audible and I'm looking for my next audiobook, and if it's magical philosophy-y children's series well then. Also: Hannah's doing an LOTR marathon! That just makes me so irrationally happy. I really enjoyed Unbelievable on Netflix. It’s based on a true series of stories from 2008 to 2011 about women who were raped by the same person and I think it does a really good job on the police side of rape, with gathering evidence and building a case. It’s not heavy on the graphic violence so it’s easier to watch but still can be triggering because of the issues discussed.
