I just want to mention how much I appreciate the director coming out and explaining gems for people who don't watch or know the show!! That's such a nice gesture and honestly he sounds like he likes the show or at least looked into it a lot (I'd expect the first tbh) It's such a nice thing to do cuz yeah people don't know it sometimes and it's so nice to let people who came for other people at least know what's happening cuz he didn't have to do that

I have been looking for something like this since i first saw steven universe the movie. I just really thought is was theatrically worth to adapt into a play. I am soo lucky that i found this play bc the acting, the visuals and the singing for a tiny budget like this is amazing! Btw props to the actress for Spinel! You were the highlight of the show! I just want to say. I watched the entire play and I have never watched something so beautiful and creative as this play. It is absolutely phenomenal and I enjoyed ever second of it. As Spinel being my favorite character in all of fiction, the actress of Spinel did the best job in the entire play. She brought the adorable behavior to Baby Spinel and the Evil behavior to her normal self. It made me so happy to see that someone did a wonderful play on my favorite movie, because it was always a dream of mine to see a play or be in one for Steven Universe the Movie. And everyone else did a wonderful job, crew and cast. I want to say thank you for making my day with this wonderful play. I will definitely watch it again. For me, it’s a 10/10.

The performance displayed commendable effort, however there are areas that definitely needed working. I highly advice conducting a thorough review of the musical scores to ensure precision and coherence. The vocal delivery, while adequate, exhibited occasional shortcomings in pitch and timing. Additionally, I’d recommend attention to character motivation and energy levels to enhance the depth of portrayal. Regrettably, the emotional resonance desired from the actors' performances was not fully realized. Nevertheless, this was absolutely fun to watch!
