Kelsey, I wish you all the luck in finding a publisher and getting your book released. You truly deserve it. You work so hard and do so much and still somehow have the energy to show us your brightest side even when you're tired and would probably rather rest and chill. I respect you so much. And if we, your community, can help you getting closer to reaching your dreams I'm sure we'll all do it in a heartbeat!

I actually think it’s really funny that you put so much Wisteria on the cottage. Wisteria is actually known as “the plant killer”. You were saying how it’s so thick, it is because it steals the roots from other plants, takes all their nutrients, and then overgrows. It’s so hard to get rid of when you have it. So the fact that you have so much wisteria on the house is 1) so terrifying, but 2) incredibly accurate 😅

Kelsey I don't know if you will see this , I also don't know if you will have the garden inside or outside but for outside you will have to gate in the front because the foxes will eat your crops and stuff. just letting you know, love the house its very pretty

Hi Kels just wanted to give you some info, writer to writer! Trad publishing is better for upfront costs, but in the long run you may not make as much, since the publisher takes a fairly significant cut of the profits, plus you don't actually make any money until the publisher recoups the money they paid you upfront. Also the publisher will not actually do any promotion for you, that's still all on you whichever route you go! But the publisher will help you get an editor, a cover artist, a formatter, etc. Keep in mind though that they have the final yes or no say when it comes to decisions about your book (and they may tell you to rewrite some things! I've heard of stories where the author is basically forced to add in a romance subplot. I doubt it's super common that they do things like that..?). Also working on the other book is a very smart idea, as a lot of agents/publishers are more likely to take you on as an author if you have multiple finished manuscripts. Self publishing is where you have to invest all the money upfront and organize everything yourself, you're right! There are some tools that help you do that (look up Jenna Moreci if you want to know more) and you have full control of everything, but you also have to organize and pay for everything. But you get 100% of the profits too. Higher risk and higher reward is a good way to describe it, I think. Also if twitter doesn't go too much to shit, it's a really good tool to build your platform and query agents. There are some events held there where agents actively look for new work and authors can tweet their story concept (with a finished manuscript mind) and if an agent likes it, y'all can get in touch! Very helpful tbh. I haven't done querying myself but I've heard it's a very tough process, so keep your head up.

Kelsey when you were deciding whether to add the backdoor, my mind jump to a conservatory, you can put more plants in there but it also leads into the backyard and you can have a little dining area inside too. Also I love watching you shows.

Maybe switch the peach room with the bathroom and make the kids rooms next to each other. Then you could split what was the peach room into two bathroom and make one on sweet with the master
