My favorite mushroom pickin line, was my friend sayin'... There's too many of em... We can't get em ALL! 😳😂😂😂 He left the woods that day, in his boxers, & sneakers...(having used his pants t-shirt & socks as makeshift totebags, after we run out of garbage & bread bags. A real motherload!😂 The trunk was full, the bbbbackseat, to the ceilin' half the front seat... Bags atop the roof & the trunk, i slowly drove to the shop, right thru a small town. Caleb ridin on the hood, in his boxers & sneakers holdin the take in place.) That was...2007... And...we was seen breakin that law. We didn't get em all, but raked in around 4grand at the mushroom festival. Can't eat em all either!😂😁

@@johnnyfish6051 ain't no book to read Johnny! Kinda funny how us Crawford county farm kids, never really accomplished much, when livin elsewhere. But here... Here... We hang on to our hair! Dag gammit it's early January! Them mushrooms are already gone. So... I'm fixin to work on these steaks, remembering that those mushrooms are steak too, with a couple eggs on the side, or with a few walleye fillets &some asparagus... I'll be ready for ALL that, come the fist of May. Have a wonderful new year Johnny, & learn them kids all the skills you can, so they too can enjoy the workings of our kingdom and its gold. I can see you're itching to get out there just like I am we've had such warm weather I can't even believe it I want to know what you mean by a transition line
@johnnyfish60512 жыл бұрын
Adrienne! My favorite picker!! Yes transition line, your a good listener. Its just a place in the woods where there's a sudden change in the kind of timber, underbrush or vegetation. In this vid started by the swamp with black willow trees and the thick razon grass on the floor. Suddenly came in to large hardwood trees with an open canopy and on the floor baby buck brush and wild plum. This transition is were the big patch was. These sudden changes happen for some reason...flooding, loggers, beavers, tornado, a few big trees died out in the same area, for some reason a sudden change? Well, under the ground there are changes also! The micocylium has been damaged and its repairing itself with royal flushes of fruiting bodies. See ya, hope your well.

@@johnnyfish6051 t is a unit of sexual or asexual reproduction that may be adapted for dispersal and for survival. Spores form part of the life cycles of many fungi. But you seem to knew it all.
@johnnyfish6051 Жыл бұрын
@@amybestickclark8614 may! You should be more sure of your statements before you put them out on display for the world. Besides I've never seen a sexual behavior by any mushroom.Well....I'll leave that one alone. I know morels have little seeds that fall out of them cause if let a mushroom dry out for hours, days, months or years on my kitchen counter and the dashboard of my truck I see little seeds have fallen out all over. Mazillions of them! If I take those mazillion and two seeds back to my mushroom patch every year 3 times a year. Then I'm doing more than a mesh bag could ever do with these spore asexual inbred things. Right. Cause everyone truly knows within the deepest corners of their cold harts by caring a mesh bag does nothing because every year you return with that mesh bag to not find more morels on that same path you walk every year from your car to your patch or from your front door to your patch. No new burst or patches of morels. Should be right? you carry that mesh bag through there every year? But no, every one has to mushroom politics correct cause this word are a bunch of sheep! baa! Baa! Meaaash baaaagaaa! Their are better ways to spread morel seed that you and every morel picker needs to do. All are about to get re-educated on morellity. Don't get me started on their roots.byeee
