I want to visit Tsujihan so bad!! And Imakatsu looks delicious too. Also, Studio Ghibli in Japanese is スタジオジブリ, and they pronounce the "ghi" as "ji" (like Jiji the cat, or Jeep!). My favorite Japanese food is tsukemen (particularly with fish based broth) or anything with Japanese curry!!

We love the conveyor belt sushi in Japan. So cheap! My daughter said you should try the peelable gummies. For example, you peel the "skin" of the grape and eat the skin and the inside of the grape.

Happy Vlogmas! My favorite Japanese is either sushi or udon with lots of vegetables and sometimes a poached egg or egg stirred in the broth. As a mainly vegetarian or sometimes pescatarian diet eater who grew up as a meat eater, I like how sushi combines all the food groups and has only fish, usually, and usually raw fish as that's the only type of fish I usually like. I also love avocado! A funny story is that I've had pet fish, the small kind and koi fish, and even a pet crawfish I saved that fell out of the cooking pot, so I became hesitant to eat sea life, as a meat eater growing up. But over time, I got introduced to sushi more and learned sushi is too good! Udon holds a special place in my heart because my mother cooks it for my family growing up when making homemade food. I've spent time together with her learning how to make it for myself and bonding with my mother, creating last memories that I'll hold onto as we both get older and I have to spend less time with her. It's not only delicious and good on a cold, winter day but it reminds me of home and feels homemade even when it's just me cooking it. I love seeing your food and fun travels locally in the U.S. and abroad as it gives perspective to others' lives and makes me want to not miss out on my youth! I enjoy seeing life vlogs of just daily life because it makes me have to give myself a break, not worry, destress from school and work, and just have fun! After all, "my philosophy is worrying means you suffer twice - N.S." It's also fun to watch when I don't really eat much of the same foods you do. You've inspired be to travel around my city a bit more and expand my food choices as a slightly "self proclaimed persnickety eater." This is my first comment on one of your videos because I thought getting into the holiday spirit and sharing what I love helps me reflect on what I should be grateful for. You have so much gratitude for life that I really admire and that's why you're one of my favorite KZbinrs. Even if we can't always be positive all the time, gratitude still makes us great, even when we're not perfectly "positive" and happy. This gratitude helps keep the mindset openminded and positive even when we're not positive ourselves. Mentioning positivity, I think it's important to spread some cheer, even without the holidays but I've seen that is what everybody who supports you is doing. Thank you! To you & everybody else.
