EDIT (Pair Spoilers): Since there’s some confusion, and I’ll address this next episode too, Flygon is still legal even though we have double ground because it’s a PAIR that can break the rules, so it’s just a lucky happenstance that both the types of our rule breaking pair allow us to use these other mons. I haven't seen anyone point this out, and I don't know if I'm mistaken, but: 1. Rob shouldn't have re-encountered Burmy, as Burmy is a bug type, not a grass type, they could have catched it. 2. Even if they did get Flygon, Diglett. who is also primary Ground-type, is in Fruit's team already, and they were already breaking the same type rule for Psyquic-type so Mew and Mewtwo could be in their respective team. Maybe I'm wrong? Thought I'd point it out. EDIT: Fruit has clarified on his pinned about the ground-type thing.

You're right about the burmy. It's pure bug, and all of its evolutions are primary bug. But I'd say let them have it for the shiny Magearna encounter. Because huge power flygon is dope. I'm not 100% sure how the rule breaking clause works though. I don't know if they're allowed to have one duplicate type, or one pair that breaks the rules. If it's the former, then using the flygon pair is illegal. If it's the ladder, then using the flygon pair is legal because the diglett/mewtwo pair is the one that breaks rules.

I was so hyped when I saw this video get released then even more hype to see the length! Still not done with the whole video so I'll keep it vague to potentially apply to anywhere you are at the end of the video but I think due to the shiny, the next encounter you get in a grass or something with multiple Pokemon in it, just get a second encounter from it. Or if you want something more spicy, you now get one free use of the revive item that you can use during the same battle a pokemon faints in. -Pengu

Spikes could be a good help for future kahuna fights as you can use it three times to take 25% off all incoming pokemon that aren't Flying, have levitate or have an Air Balloon.

Contrary Liligant with Leaf Storm is incredibly busted. Everytime you use leaf storm, it gives +2 sp atk . Plus even without that Leaf Storm is incredibly powerful at 130 base power and 90% accuracy. Combined with +2 sp atk on every use, Liligant would be your strongest sweeper.

I think one of these seasons, you should try to never catch your first encounter in each area for new encounters, but go for the 2nd one. You guys always get something better the 2nd time when you see if your depressed or not lol, not always but most of the time....Anyway maybe try that spice things up a bit....like they need spicing lol. I've been stretching out this video for a few days and been loving it! I definitely should have just made comments along the way since so much happens but I have really enjoyed the laughs! I was super sad to see Snorlax and Crabominable fall to innards out but I guess it opened the door for Mega Sableye :) Unfortunately I saw Fruit's edit about the Flygon pair and was pretty confused but it was maybe two minutes later when they encountered and the "rule breaking clause" makes sense now. The only unfortunate thing is that Flygon was reencountered from Burmy who is Bug and not Grass. I'm personally totally fine with them keeping the pair because anything to keep the series going at this point makes me happy. I'm thinking you could either ignore the type mistake and we can all act like it never happened or maybe you could use this pair to make up for missing the shiny Magearna.
