I remember someone pointed this out in a different reaction but at 4:21 Zach says, “what has more beauty and terror than innocence”. The line itself is said by one of the two women that took care of N when you go through the castle in the first game. And I was always thought that bar hits different especially since Zach has that “believable voice” as I like to call it.

As a side note: When Lusamine says "got nothing else to loose except my Nihilego," that could just be a basic statement, but "Nihelego" translates from Latin as "Empty Self" so there's alot of possible double meaning there

I love N's verse solely because Zach B sounds like N. There's this undercurrent of emotion that Zach B puts in all of his raps that really fit for him. Also, Mewtwo coming in and destroying everything at the end is just the perfect ending.

I liked Guzma’s one because it really went into his backstory about how his life was kind of difficult when he was kid and how he was looked as a failure for not be able to using Z-Moves but how he has become strong after all of that.

I felt the same way as Pat when I first heard it, but I started binging reactions to this cypher and it grew on me the more I heard it. It’s probably in my top three at least now. Tl:dr Guzma’s verse gets better the more you listen to it imo

Your thoughts on the Guzma verse aren't too dissimilar to how I felt at first, but the more I listened to it, the more I loved it, because yes the verse was flawed, but it perfectly captured the chaotic and unhinged nature of Guzma. Yeah it got the "I'm a gangster, I'm better than you" but it was all over the place and erratic, which is also so perfectly Guzma.

N's verse was so strong. Fit his character so well whole still landing hard hitting lines. "I find that heroes are often more villianous/How do we even notice what the difference is?" It was too good. Everyone knows Mewtwo was good, and I always felt Lysander's is underrepresented. But N's is top for me, possibly the best verse in all of Cam's ciphers.

Lysandre and Lusamine were probably my favourites. I've noticed that in all of these cyphers the female characters have a more song like verses which is a bit shame? I'd love to hear similar rap style than from the guy. They do sound really good still though.

Fun fact about rustage as mewtwo according to Gameboyjones rustage basically willed mewtwo into being on the cypher as he wasn’t one of the choices but he asked cam if he could be mewtwo and cam was like “ I don’t see why not”

They did our boy Ghetsis dirty. He had such an amazing and cruel character and story. He built up a boy with nothing and forced his sisters to become his servants, he built N up only as a false symbol for his own genocidal image. He's also the only villain to technically canonically murder people. He froze half a region solid, screwed up the ecosystem, and practically froze the people to death. (With the help of Colress, but Colress is still under his command, so I count it) Not to mention he nearly impaled the main character in B2W2. He also hit a 12 year-old girl and threatened to harm her more when he reappeared in USUM if you didn't hand over your pokemon. Not to mention, his team is absolutely busted like Cynthia's. They could have used literally any of this as rap material, but nope.

Great reaction, your perspective on the verse aren't bad, you judge almost solely on what's said relevances to the characters, only real criticism is when you say so and so didn't flow well, or you start talking about not like rhymes your actually talking about something else. Which you already said your not a professional music guy so it makes sense. Just comes of as ignorant, cause Zach B definitely do be flowing on every track, and certain rhyme schemes people are unique so it sounds weird unless you aware that it was done with a purpose. 10/10 would watch more reaction. Can't wait to see you step out of just the pokemon raps if that's something you plan on doing

Personally, I feel Maxie had the best verse, I think you took too much points off him for the last line xD It’s jokes. But I also really liked Guzma’s for ONE REASON. It just… felt.. so.. GUZMA.
