Well it has a retro 80s style which is quite well known. And 80s horror is still huge in pop culture and references to this day. So unless the devs have made a conclusive statement about taking inspiration from puppet combo games, then I think it’s unfair to say they copied them. So to answer your question, no it’s not a puppet combo game and it’s unclear whether or not it was copied. Plagiarism accusations suck. Edit mb. Not even 1980s.
