Oh my goodness 😡 people who carry on about not being a licensed doctor and giving herbal advice or whatever is ridiculous. How about taking some responsibility and research anything yourself. You can't even share your own experience without some "disclaimer" having to be spoon fed to them. In my opinion, having 12 plus years experience is good enough for me to take note of the wisdom you kindly share with us. Thankyou Michelle and Codi ❤️

I just want to say that I love the way you guys approach your education and sharing. I’m an urban homesteader and I watch a lot of channels, but they never have a very practical and not so judgey way of communicating how to live more healthy with what you have and what you can do. Thank you for being that way. It’s noticed and super appreciate. Also, I really love your content including herbs and body products. Keep it up!

You go girl 🎉🎉thank you for talking about your herbs🎉 people who post negative comments about it. 1. They are not of a homesteaders mindset or natural living 2. Anyone with common sense knows your not a doctor 3. Most important if you have a common sense to do your own research!!! Lastly I appreciate your knowledge❤❤

I bought Sue Becker's bread book. She has a recipe for graham crackers. Cut up in small pieces with milk make a great cereal. With fresh ground flour they are super. I also took her peanut butter brownie recipe, added more flour rolled it out thin and baked it for cereal. It's not fruitloops but my kids love it especially for travel.

I'm so excited for growing this year, I live in a zone 10 area in India so my growing season basically starts now and I'm so excited. I have some celery seeds sprouting, a bunch of salad greens and radishes either growing or just started and I left one of my bok choi to bolt and flower maybe to save the seeds we'll see. I'm growing on my 7th floor balcony, very excited to be growing some butternut this year since no one in my area farms or sells it

Another great video. Apple mint is great. I prefer spearmint for stomach issues. In the Middle East they use spearmint, not peppermint, for stomach issues. When I traveled there, I caught a stomach bug. The locals kindly brewed me spearmint tea (tissane) laced with dark brown sugar. It was served hot in very tiny cups. It made me a believer. When my mother was going through chemo, I gave it to her to help settle her stomach. It worked. It allowed her to keep eating to keep up her strength.

@ajb.8222 күн бұрын
As a kid, I wasn't a huge fan of eggs but gently fried in butter, w enough salt n pepper, would typically prefer that plus regular pancakes, to pancakes w much more eggs in them. My mom had a pop-over recipe and a pancake, each of which called for a lot of eggs, and I didn't like the "eggy" taste of them much. I can, however, add at least 1 extra egg to most things just fine, for me and for how the baked good turns out, such as cookies, muffins, pumpkin pie ( using squash up ), etc. . I cut back on sugar "to taste" as much as I can, which is usually by at least half ! It still turns out well !

Watching your videos here from the Philippines. You really motivate us to grow veggies and fruits in our backyard, although we grow totally different varieties that are compatible with our climate. Using herbal meds is a choice and I often give my kids these natural remedies growing up. And yes, we should be responsible enough to do our own research. Some people are just so petty and overreactive. You guys are so humble and don't have qualms about showing us how you go through all the hard work. Thank you for being an inspiration.

I am with you Michelle regarding growing herbs for ones health. So people say things because they are trolls who must complain about everything they do not do to people who feel that one must always see a doctor about everything. Continue to stay proactive in your family's health. Many people to include me are doing what you are doing. I recently added camomile to my tea garden. I am growing different types of flowers for cutting and when they dry up I will use them for potpourri. I use aloe vere for shampoo, conditioner, and first aid. I am slowly making the change in things I normally buy in the store to making them myself. The old saying about 'people afraid of change' is true. Most people do not want all of those unknowns in food and household items.
