MORETON BAY TUNA - I get EVEN
I set out with one task in mind - to get even with those Longtail Tuna. I was surprised to find them so easily, but March must be the month when they are in the bay and continually active. I was able to get two in the boat, which was enough for the day but as I boated around the bay for a few more hours, I noticed bust-ups of tuna everywhere. I was tempted to throw the lure again.
I had sashimi that afternoon (soy sauce and wasabi) and they are sensational. I smoked some the next day and there isn’t anything better.
So, I reckon you all should also head out with an appropriate rod and real and lure and get stuck into them. They are little torpedoes of muscle and they fight hard.

Dazza My fishing mate left for USA 25 years ago and hasn't been back. Un - bloody - beleivable. He now lives in Arizona and I send him your videos just to make him homesick. Hopefully he will be back and wetting a line once covid is over. Never known a bloke to go so far out of his way to avoid a shout.....but that's my mate. Boof

Thanks for watching and sending these videos. I hope it works. I don't recall there being much water in Arizona to fish in. Hopefully the lure of Moreton Bay will bring your fishing mate back. I can't think of many things better than fishing QLD waters. Is there?

@@AdventurePrimal Too right it's dry in Arizona.....but not as dry as the back of my throat. The rotten bugger left on his shout 25 years ago. Mate he's as tight as a dead heat and if beer prices keep going up he probably won't be back. Meantime he loves your videos and reckons you remind him of himself......not sure why .....you are catching fish .......he couldn't tie his own shoe laces let alone a decent fishing knot. Anyway why would you leave Moreton Bay??? ....a marine park in your own back yard......you cant catch fish in the bloody Grand Canyon.......anyway enjoying your videos.....I'll keep sending them to my mate in the hope he might return......fishermen always live in hope. Boof

haha that's a long way to go to avoid a shout. Good to hear you're both liking the videos. yeah I cant see myself leaving here. Far too nice a place and Im still trying to work out how to fish it. It will take some time. Hopefully I can help others in the process.

I did notice that they werent far out on my way back in. They were everywhere. In all channels of the inner banks.

Middle of the bay. There were schools everywhere that day...couldnt miss them...lucky day for me
