This must be the best camp spot on Moreton we stayed in this exact spot in January and plan to try jag it again next January for 12 nights 👍 every creek to Coast or 4wd show always snag this spot aswell. Good video guys 👌

They don’t allocate numbers. It’s the north west camp zone. First in best dressed.

Going to moreton for the first time in June, really like the north-west site you guys are staying at! I'm abit confused on the booking system, can you book specific sites or just book for north-west and its first in best dressed?

It is confusing. If you book north west then you can camp anywhere in that zone. The other camp grounds are more specific sites. There are a lot of good options at north west so you can’t go wrong there.

In the North West Camping Zone can you book specific sites or is it first come first served? When I go through the booking process to test it doesn't give an option for a specific site hence the reason for my question?

North west doesn’t have allocated sites / first in best dressed / but it’s the furtherest site in the NW zone. Definitely recommend it.

It was the very last camp site in the North west zone. How good is Joolca ! Yes I agree we all need more Uncle Johnnie. We have a trip planned in 2 weeks to Burrum National Park and Uncle Johnnie is coming too!

It was the site at the most northern end of north west. It’s first in for sites, they aren’t allocated.

Yes you do, plus if you have a boat they dont like you mooring out the front either.

Mate I couldn't have found your vid at a better time. Heading there this August and heaps of great info. Looks like Comboyuro campground is best. Looks really nice. One question. Are there plenty of places where you Can fill Jerry cans with water? Thanks again Much appreciated Cheers Mick

Thanks mate. Most of the camp areas have fresh water available, it has to be boiled to drink it. Comboyuro has water taps as well.

Hey guys. Awesome video! Planning a moreton trip, we have booked Ben Ewa campground. We have a camper trailer. Just wondering if sites are allocated to each booking or is it first in best dressed?

Pretty sure Ben Ewa has 12 sites which are marked with totems and you get an allocated site - to confiem you can contact mulgumpin camping.
