Big fan of Drew but being a dual citizen of Zimbabwe and Zambia there r a couple of issues from my side. Firstly that note is not legal tender anymore so for u to say it's equal to $100 is false. 2ndly, those groceries u got for the community, no way that could cost only $20. 3rdly, there is no conflict in Zimbabwe or Zambia so again, false. Otherwise, great content!!

Hello Drew, I've been following you for many years, am a HUGE fan of yours and I'm thrilled that you finally visited my country. Yes, I'm a Zimbo (that's how we refer to ourselves here). However, I need to correct a few misconceptions from your video: 1. There has never been a conflict between Zimbabwe and Zambia, I mean NEVER. In fact, Zimbabwe and Zambia used to be part of the same country during colonial times. It was called the Rhodesian Federation (or Central African Federation (CAF)), and it consisted of present-day Zimbabwe (Southern Rhodesia), Malawi (Nyasaland), and Zambia (Northern Rhodesia) between 1953 and 1963. 2. The 100 trillion Zimbabwe dollar note belongs in a museum; it has been discontinued. Of course, it was printed during the periods of hyperinflation in 2008, but it was never worth US$100 as per your guide. In fact, it was only worth US$0.40. again thank you for visiting my country

Shallow report that is neither educational nor informative. Zimbabwe was under USA sanctions, which ended up being global. The sanctions were a reaction to the Land Question, the real reason for two Chimurenga Wars in 1890-4 and 1967-1980. Many countries mismanage their economies and have political unrest including USA but they don't get galloping inflation. Zimbabwe was simply used ruthlessly as example punishment for land repossession by the West.
