The old flocked tree is a lot prettier in my opinion. And I think your house counts as a mini tree farm at this point lol! I like the garland.

I wrap my garland through each slat so it’s wrapped on top and through, not just on top:) I think it looks pretty, but I think that’s why you feel like something is missing. A flat piece like that is more for a mantle or a table centerpiece from what I’ve seen! ❤️🌲

I think the garland is beautiful, and would look a lot better if the branches were pointing downward (flip it around so it cascades down) and maybe add a long soft silk ribbon at the end on the banister. But of course nothing tops real garland. You decorated your home beautifully for the holidays 😍

A beautiful Balsum Hill tree, I want one too but in smaller size. I use command hooks all over they are the best. I have several of those candles with the timers, I use them all yr. But all in all your whole house is so beautiful.. Have a wonderful Christmas.

Gorgeous! I would suggest though that with the staircase garlands, you hang them the other way around so that they look like they flow downwards? It gives a more pleasing feel as the upward direction seems more "prickly"!
