Wes, your envisioning Yakult containers as something else, like a mini jet pack, is the way many props, ships, decor, and items in Star Trek (all series, pretty much) have been created. A weapon probe from one of the first season episodes of The Next Generation was created from a leggings container and a shampoo bottle.

I used to collect to-go coffee cups and admire the different logo designs.. I stopped that, but now I hold onto any piece of bubble wrap and cardboard haha! I also keep movie theater tickets of films I liked a lot and use those as bookmarks 🤔

I don't keep the cups but I keep the cardboard sleeves. It started as a way for me to reuse them or recycle them at home though. I just got used to keeping them all.

Wow! This episode was so cute and so hashtag relatable. I can relate to Wes hoarding empty bottles because I collect empty cranberry bottles and put tiny plastic stuff on it like candy wrappers and empty chip bags. I can relate to Benson because I also collect empty TP rolls hoping to upcycle it into some type of artwork but my brother usually just shreds them to make charcoal briquettes. I can relate to Jen's journaling, though I mostly do it online. And lastly, I can relate to Jessica's movie ticket collection. I used to do this back in the day until I couldn't stand the pile of garbage on my desk so I just throw them away every time I clean my room. Cheers!

Let's put it this way; if you don't MAKE the time to even Start on the projects that you have been saving things for, not the things you collect just to keep pretty, but the things you collect with the intent of actually using and building something out of, then that phase of your life has PASSED. Let the stuff GO! And yes, I am doing that too right now. Dragging out all my collections, and forcing myself to either use them, or part with them, one collection at a time. I'm actively learning this, and creating things. Not Just talking here. But I also love collecting postcards too!

Wes's yakult bottles had me in shock HAHA Your prompt of things of nostalgia reminded me how recently I found a bunch of photos and old artwork I did in preschool, since back then my preschool was sentimental enough to collect the things I did when I was 4 years old haha. Crazy enough, I recently met a guy who I think I went to the same preschool with (I have yet to 100% confirm this at the time I'm typing this comment, but in the photographs this boy honestly has a close resemblance of this guy) which is wild since I never actually knew him these past 19 years since preschool, yet somehow quarantine and the universe connected for us to meet haha
