MOREY Eel BITES 🤮 - Never do This Mistake!!!

Duuude you are luuuucky!! The strength they have in the jaws is incredible and you left with a minor cut!! Plus the teeth are pointing towards the inside of their mouth, so if the lock your hand in there is almost impossible to get it out! Always have one eye open for smerna when cleaning fish AND pufferfish!! Also both of them can get outside of the water! It's crazy!! Of course smerna can easily move outside of the water too!! Be careful!!!

Yes bro - so crazy! I think the fish knew what it was doing, aimed for my hand in order to let the fish go. Then it made clear that it's hers and left with now her prey. I'm very glad I didn't get injured badly! The fish came out of nowhere I didn't see it coming at all and also my hand was not inside the water, but it seems it's not enough to be safe. Cheers bro 🤝

Damn! Glad you're okay Max. Although I don't think it was trying to eat your hand, just to let go of the fish. Which is crazy. I shore jig in the Mediterranean (I'm a local) and I didn't know that could happen. This was a good reminder to carry a little first aid kit on the rocks.

The same thing almost happened to me I was cleaning the fish and a smerna came out of the rocks with its mouth open. Luckily I saw it and pulled my hand. It scared the hell out of me

Completely insane this Morey Daniele! It even started a second attack with no reason just to make sure it's her fish. Gladly not - I went to the pharmacy and got some antiseptic spray. Now it's only a scar left... 🙈 My feeling was the fish did it on purpose and knew where it has to aim for. My hand was out of the water and the fish inside, it could have easily graped the fish but it decided to go for the hand... Crazy 😱

I fished far more techniques, waters and species in EU than the majority of fisherman, so I know the game quite well. 🤓 But still you can't know everything and I would say I learned my lesson the hard way... Since Shore Jigging came very popular I guess there are a lot of anglers (especially those who travel) who don't know it either. TL Max

Forsure very lucky man there,as others stated , I’ve eaten them here in Spain very fishy/ oiley eel , the locals love them ,some crazy Guys here catch them handlining threw rocks like that at night, thankfully I haven’t caught one when fishing , nasty fish indeed…tightlines 😎🐟🇪🇸

Forsure mate, I would clean your fish away from the rocks , All big EEls like undercuts, rocks in deep water ,any slack water,the guts you threw back would got that fish feeding in low tide I reckon,I watch all your uploads your great fisherman, Greece 🇬🇷 has some great fishing,looking forward to your next uploads keep safe😎🐟🇪🇸
