Morgan City to New Orleans | Texas to Florida on Sailboat | ep 236

Morgan City was THE BEST place to stop and get some work done on our boat while we waited out several winter storms while traveling the GIWW / ICW from Texas to Florida. We were able to get groceries, fill our fuel tanks, and do laundry. We also finished several BIG projects.

Yeah people in Louisiana are very friendly people. HaHa yeah prices are ridiculous a dozen eggs is 5.99 and mils is 6.99 crazy. But we need the food. We are about to buy chickens for our eggs. Wow no Lift or Uber out there wow. U guys are going to like that Venison sausage it is sooooo good. Stay safe you guys. We are getting bad weather her that storm is going to be bad we are supposed to have a blizzard tomorrow. We supposed to get 6” of snow.

Fun stuff Brings back memories from when we lived on the gulf coast. I am actually a panhandle kid, Fort Walton Beach. Traveling those waters on the ICC were fun. Now living in the Pacific Northwest we miss the area.
