Next season is going to be a big for him and the team. I think we can expect some big things from him next season i don't think it's too much to expect that we will finish top 12. I also love that he bleeds forest his enthusiasm and dedication is immense that reaction after winning the ball back against Arsenal was very Phsyco Pearce esque and says it all.

Very 'Psychoesque' as he has grown immensely this season, what a transformation and as you said, that tackle near the end against Arsenal said it all about him and his work ethic, can't be faulted from such a determined player. Also the only player this season to stop Casemiro from working his magic against us, no wonder United were determined to nobble him for the 2nd match but also before the end of the 1st one too as they did! Casemiro was totally out of the game whilst ever MG-W was on the pitch but as soon as he went off injured we struggled against his quality so it goes to show what a great disruptor of the game he can be too, MG-W is the real deal as he works tirelessly throughout the matches for the team, often with little reward but he still keeps doing it anyway. We need him on top form again next season so keep your fingers crossed guys! ❤

I thought Brennan as his goals kept us afloat for much of the season but MGW got better as the season went on. Him, Brennan, Taiwo and Danilo give us a great attacking base for next season.

I voted for Brennan personally, 7 crucial home points versus Everton, Leicester & Leeds, just the 1 goalscorer. Think Taiwo with 10 goals in 18 starts and 43% of the points we have accrued in games he's scored in deserved more recognition too. MGW is a crowd pleaser but his numbers aren't as impressive by comparison, an assist every 5 starts and a handful of goals including penalties. So on this the 43rd anniversary of the second * being added at Santiago Bernabeu (I can still envision the tear gas wafting back at the inept policia!) I'm reminded of the greatest scruffy trickster it's been my privilege to watch and support whose laser guided scuff broke the Hamburgers hearts His numbers aren't amazing either but his impact was/is immeasurable, then and now. Congratulations to MGW, all we need now is another genius to take a right footed attacking central midfielder and stick him left wing!!

My top 5 rank for the season was Danilo, MGW, Johnson, Awoniyi and Felipe. But Danilo didnt play so many matches, so I think MGW was our most valuable player this season, all in all. Now we need another class striker, two central midfielders and a couple of younger halfbacks, so next season will bring lotsa joy and pride. I hope for 11th place, but will be happy with 13th. I strongly believe we can be top 10 in our third season back in the top flight. The best is yet to come, COYR!

@@PazLeBon I agree with that. We basically just have Johnson and Scarpa, with Johnson mostly on the right. Even if Danilo or MGW could step in for a match or two. Which would be causing us trouble with other positions. I think it's a bit down to how Cooper wants his team to play, in his preferred 3-4-1-2 formation. In that formation there is no classic wingers like John Robertson, but more of a wingback like Djed Spence last season. But a left winger like Bryan Roy back in the days sure would give Cooper a lot more flexibility in how to line up the team against different opponents. There will be shopping and chopping this summer as well, and a classic left winger sure would bring back great memories for the older fans of Forest.

I was impressed with so many. MGW first game against Everton when he came on as a sub and I knew he would be special. Brennan Johnson and Taiwo have saved Nottingham Forest this season. Danilo was brilliant and would have been amazing with an entire season. Yates and Worrall are so spirited and Yates is a real warrior. Mangala vision and the fact that he scored was excellent. Serge Aurier and Lodi were reliable and exciting and I hope we keep them as well as Henderson who saved us so many points. Felipe short period and he was brilliant and Moussa they are natural defenders. Then you have Dennis and Scarpa who could become really good. Scarpa was unlucky with injury and Dennis found amazing form and then got injured. I really liked Lewis O'Brien, Kouyate, Neco Williams, Tofolo, Boly, McKenna. All were brilliant and I am proud of ANYONE that wears the uniform. COYR
