Why don’t you tell US IRS to give indexation benefit to real estate. It’s so regressive that only RE estate tax evaders get this benefit. Believe I have made multi bagger returns in property market. But have seen such a curse of black money… everyone demands cash and all kind of dirty deals are common. No need to benefit such a useless sector at the cost of other asset class. Why doesn’t commodity or REITs get this benefit.

There's nothing bullish avout the budget. Government has just played it safe !! Food, medical, and education inflation is at its peak. The biggest culprit is high fuel prices !! Unless cost of fuel is reduced, nothing will change. Moreover, there's high unemployment. Where are the jobs ? Unless you want to be a delivery guy in Zomato, etc. or become ola uber driver !! This was not really a budget but a popat !!

Do they have any accountability to the public on whose contributions they make a living?
