This is gorgeous, and I must be out of step with popular opinion because I’m not bored by it. So far it’s my favorite of the mainstream fall collections. Morgan Taylor doesn’t get nearly enough attention. Their formulas are so good.

I love the Morgan Taylor polish formulas now more than any other brand, and hate it that OPI has kind of fallen off my radar. But I’m with you concerning MT’s Fall collection; the colors are just uninspired.

MT is probably my fave of the big brands - toss up between them and Orly - but I don't understand this "collection" at all. At this point it feels like the big companies are just herding a load of random colours together, slapping some theme on and poof, collection dun. Would we even know this was a fall collection if we weren't told? OPI looks like a holiday collection, Orly have stayed mostly in safe old sludge-ville and this is just "ok, what's left over?" If Zoya hit us with a load of muted brown cremes and a few light bleh shimmers, that distant sound of screaming you'll hear is me all the way from Britain 😖 Sigh. At least China Glaze came through. As ever, great review (and yay for getting on the radar. You absolutely deserve it) but I am underwhelmed. Izzit me or is everything just weird this year?

I never buy collections of nail polish, much prefer picking individual colours I’m interested in wearing. Part of it is I don’t like reds or pinks and there’s ALWAYS at least one in a collection. I think it’s funny that their “change of pace” collection wasn’t a change of pace for the brand - you kept saying polishes are stuff the brand has already done! How ironic
