Could just be the position in the crowd or the camera mic, but the mixing on the audio needs some work at that venue.

Most likely just the camera mic. If there is a professional camera crew recording, the audio is split so they can get the live audio without the interference from the acoustics of the venue or crowd or anything else out of their control. They have mics recording the crowd so they can mix that in as well. So someone recording on their phone or camera just can't get the same quality most of the time
