Uther got everything he deserved. Unfortunate about the rest of the kingdom when she finally snapped. 😅 But if anyone had a right to snap, it's her. It still hits me to this day what a tragedy this story ended up being, but it's so beautifully done it's worth the journey even with the pain. And Morgana remains my favorite! What a beautiful edit! ❤️ Perfectly captures her story and the way everyone around her failed her until she decided she'd had enough and became the villain they all already proclaimed her to be.

every day i think about how much of a hand Merlin and Gaius had in driving Morgana to insanity Gaius would straight up drug her and gaslight her, not paying attention to the nightmares she was having or her powers; he could have guided her like he did for Merlin but he didnt and if merlin had only told Morgana about his powers, she wouldnt have felt so alone and isolated; they could have helped eachother because i think its obvious she wouldnt have told Uther but she felt isolated and misunderstood the moment when she realised that Emrys was Merlin all along, that was the most betrayed she could have felt

Yes, the moment of Morgana's realization about Merlin is so powerful and chilling, but I still hope they would've shown her reactions to it a bit more (and that we could've had a longer finale). Gaius and Merlin are often brought up while discussing about Morgana's fate, but Kilgharrah has a huge role in that as well. (What an frustratingly interesting and multi-layered character. I would want to rewatch the series just to see how I think of him now, since my opinion has shifted from "Oh, such a good and entertainingly sarcastic guide!" to "Such a sneaky and manipulative bastard!" I know he can very plausibly be both, but still. Nevertheless, Morgana deserved so much better and I love this tribute to bits.

If Merlin could have just told her about his powers too, they would've been the most powerful sorcerers duo to ever known, used their powers for good and got each other's back. Morgana doesn't deserved all those years of being afraid of her own self, lied to, lost with no one to guide her to the good of magic. I love Merlin but i think Morgana has all the rights to do all the things that she did and became the monster that they all expected her to become and did nothing about it.

Ah the way you edited the beats and the parallels in this like the morgause parallels at 3:20 to 3:25 and then the ones with mordred at 3:28 to 3:37!!!!! And how you started the video with the first shot of morgana we see and then ended it with the last 🥲 Everything about this edit is perfect and very deserving of our dark Queen 🥰

Season 1 Morgana was my favorite character. It was *mainly* Merlin’s fault (&obv Uther’s) she lost her heart and became completely evil :( Omg & Gaius! He was so biased towards Uther in all his advice and never truly looked out for her above the king. It didn’t have to happen like that 😭

No I don't think Gauis didn't care only as he said several times Morgana was the king's ward which would put her in a delicate situation if Gauis told her she had magic. I think he wanted to protect her but he did it in the wrong way.

Great video! I enjoyed it despite hating Morgana's character! While watching, I almost cried thinking about how she used to be so good. Nice Morgnana always makes me sooo sad for what could've been. I hated what the writers did to her character. It was so OOC for her to turn on EVERYONE. like, what did Arthur, Merlin, or Gwen ever do to her? Arthur, who was as much her sibling as Morgause, except that unlike her sister, she actually GREW up with Arthur..... and then Gwen, her best friend, likely from childhood as well. She should've just stuck to hating Uther like everyone else did. In the legends, she turns on Arthur but she makes up with him in the end, even leading Arthur to the lake of Avalon. The writers wanted so bad to stick to Arthurian legends but denied us a redeemed Morgana. smh. I just needed that 1 redemption scene, one apology, to like her character again. But as it stands, I strongly dislike her. I don't like once-good characters who turn evil, esp for seemingly no good reason, such as was her case. :'L

Maturing is realising Morgana had the RIGHT to do what she did. I'm still salty at Merlin's repeated failures to be there for her when he should have.

Gauis moulded Merlin into the perfect pendragon apologist. Plus I always wondered if the writers were trying to portray Merlin as an autistic. For e.g his rigid moral code. I'm not condoning any of his actions as his lack of empathy for other sorcerers is why I stopped watching. What really made my blood boil was Gwen's disgust at Morgana wanting to kill Uther. Gwen, who had no magic whatsoever and a loving father to go home to each night. The only father figure Morgana and Arthur had was Uther.
