All he had to do was tell her. Maybe if she had known he was hiding like she was, if she had known she was not alone, maybe she would not have fallen. They could have lifted eachother up but instead they chose to turn their backs on eachother. But Merlin turned his back first. I can't forgive him for that.

I don't get why everyone blames Merlin for Mogana's downfall. Merlin was told his entire life that he was supposed to hide his magic; if he had told Morgana and she ended up telling Uther, he would be executed and Uther wouldn't believe him if he tried to say that Morgana had magic. Personally, I kinda blame Arthur. Arthur was basically her sister since they were young, and yet whenever Morgana tried to tell him about her nightmares he brushed her off, even when they continuously proved themsleves to be right. If Arthur had put down his arrogance for just a single minute and listened, I feel like Morgana would have told him everything. But Arthur just kept pushing her away.

Merlin poisoned her, he gave up on her so easily. You are right about Arthur too. Furthermore Arthur kept on prohibiting magic so that made her even angrier. And I'm sure Morgause also put her in the dark tower.
