I just picked up the Dior highlighter quad in Glitz while I was in Seattle a week ago at Sephora, since we don't have Sephora here...... I ran into that highlighter by accident on an end cap and WOW! Caught that gleam out of the corner of my eye, swatched the darkest shade and had to have it. I love ALL the shades and will wear them as eyeshadow as well. Worth every penny.

I just pull from my Hourglass strobe ambient lighting palette on most days. If I want something subtle, I might just throw on good old Mary Lou. She is so dependable and reliable over the years.

Now I wanna sit and swatch all my highlighters. I do find the artist couture highlighters to be beautiful and like u I don't use them enough because they're loose and it takes that extra bit of time to carefully apply. Other favs are the ABH amerezy, rodeo drive from ofra, molten glow from jouer.

My top favourite is the Hourglass Metallic Strobe Lighting palette (not a single but like it's the main powder I use), the Dior Glitz palette has been one I have been choosing a lot lately as well. My other favourite is the Charlotte Tilbury Spotlight wand highlight. Writing this makes me miss wearing makeup, I have been working as a trade assistant the last couple weeks and makeup with manual labour doesn't really work. I am back to my admin job tomorrow, so will probably do makeup that is way too intense (good thing that my boss is my dad, and he doesn't really care if I show up full glam or bare faced).

I love tom Ford skin illuminating highlight duo my #1 fave also, MAC (soft gentle/lightscapade/whisper gilt), Benefit cookie; Bobbi B shimmer bricks; & chanel signe de lion but they aren’t cruelty-free sadly. So while I use them now the damage is done I won’t throw away an $85 piece of makeup my things are come by too dearly for me to go do that. I won’t rebuy!! My fave cruelty-free highlighter ABH amrezy/Nicole Guerrero, jeffree Star, Scott Barnes showy glowy, & Morphe Bretman rocks (I know palettes) I enjoy lush feelin younger skin tint too. Also Hourglass is pretty too!

muskan mahajan I love Benefit cookie but sadly not cruelty-free. Scott Barnes glowy showy is amazing. It comes in eco friendly packaging but still feels lux is CF & I use every shade in there none are weird or too dark or too pale or something (I can’t speak for POC of course) I would totally recommend Scott Barnes I love all of his palettes except the Contour palette was a waste for myself it’s way too dark for me I’m NC20 the eyeshadow palettes are all amazing I haven’t tried his single bronzers nor the new eye palette as that is over $125 eek Scott lost me there & Natasha Denona has a new highlighter that just came out looks bomb mine arrives tomorrow (tracking!) I am sooooo excited to get it. I might want a back up if it’s as good as I anticipate. I got cookie b4 I was CF & all of my friends call me “Cookie” so it was like “d u h” but I want to also try the new Charlotte tilbury highlighter, but I’ve heard it’s more for medium/deep skin suited. It’s nice to see a brand make something a wide range of skin tones. You would not regret Scott Barnes glowy showy 💖 SB is blinding bit not tacky blinding like cheap make you look sweaty blinding like you look like the tin man from Wiz of Oz lol it’s just perfect.

Speaking as someone that's vampire pale, an icy white or pale pink highlighter is ideal as those are the shades that actually lift very fair skintones. I personally can't wear warm tones and when it comes to highlighter, the typical champagne or gold shades make my skin look dirty. It's hard to find highlights that actually work for me as most brands think champagne and gold to be universal when there's no such thing as one shade for everyone. Sorry for my rant, I'll get off my soapbox now!

OMG, I thought it was just me! I had a hard time with the top shade too but I found that the Detail Pro and Mini Cheek from Sonia G. pick up that shade pretty well. They are both a mix of dyed and un-dyed goat hair and are a little bit stiffer.

Becca, Ofra, and Tarte has the best highlighters. The only drugstore highlighter that I like is the one from IHeartRevolution's peach blush and highlighter duo, but it doesn't last as long as the highlighters from Becca, Ofra, and Tarte. So I have to top it off with a highlighter from Becca, Ofra, or Tarte. The elf, wet n wild, and maybelline highlighters are overrated. They're glittery and only last 30 mins. I want to try the Milk Flex highlighter and pur afterglow highlighter, but I already have so many highlighters. 😂

Lol Her highlighters are overrated. They're super glittery. You need actual glitter adhesive or glitter primer to get them to stick and prevent them from going everywhere.

You know I have no Dior powder products and the reason for that is the packaging, if I am paying that price I want it to look like it, their packaging always looks as cheap as Catrice. Pat McGrath and Tilbury look like it even mid range Tarte.
