@@ffarihaa This is just a list of tricks to try out and see what works. You don't need to follow every single step, although you can if you want. 1.) Try to do your makeup on freshly washed face. If you washed your face earlier and don't need to wash your face again, blot your face to get rid of any oils that your face produced since you washed your face. 2.) Use an oil free moisturizer, if you don't have one use a thin layer of whatever moisturizer you like. Hydrating your skin is good must too much hydration will cut down the wear time. Be sure to let your base fully absorb and dry down before applying you go in with primer and fou ndation. 3.) Once your skin care is all finished and dried down. You can apply a primer(this is optional but it will help with longevity), be sure to use one that's formulated for oily skin. I'll name a few down below 4.) This one can take a little practice to get rightn Try appling a light layer of translucent setting powder on your face after your primers set and before your foundation. 5.) Foundation can be tricky, I'm super oily and I hate the look of super matte heavy foundations. I just stay away from the super hydrating glowy formulas. Also remember that less is more, you can always add more, you can't take away if you're applied to much and it look good again, imo. I'll put a little on the back of my hand, then either using my fingers or the back ends of a brush I'll put the foundation on the spots where it's want the most coverage but focusing pushing it on the perimeter of my face and I'll avoid my T zone. Then I use a makeup brush and blend everything out blending towards the middle of my face then going over it with a wet beauty sponge. Then add more product where you think needs more coverage. 6.) Same advice for your concealer. Less is more. Be sure to set it with setting powder. 7.) For blush, bronze, contour you can use creams as long as they're set with powder but that could make the wear time not the best. it you want your makeup to last for sure I would try and use as little creams as possible. And make sure the setting powder isn't a hydrating/glowy formula. 8.) Set your face with a setting spray thats mattefying or one that's not oily or overly hydrating in any way. 9.) If you start to get a little shiny/oily throughout the day you can reapply a light dusting of translucent powder, there's also blotting powder, or just blotting paper(but you can really use a napkin or anything to lightly press on your skin to absorb any excess oils.) Just keep in mind everyone's skin is different what works for some night not work for you. Just keep trying new things, different products and soon you'll find what works for you☺️ here's a list of things to just help give you an idea what to look for when picking products for oily skin 🥰 Primers -Smashbox Photo Finish Control Mattifying Primer -One/Size Secure The Sweat Primer -Nyx Professional Makeup Shine Killer Mattifying Primer -MAC Studio Fix Mattifine 12hr Shine Control Primer -Make Up For Ever Shine Control Step 1 Primer -Nars Soft Matte Primer Setting spray -Urban Decay All Nighter -Urban Decay De-slick Oil Control -Nyx Matte Finish -Charlotte Tilbiry Airbrush Flawless -One Size On Till Dawn -Milani Make It Last Foundations -Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Foundation -Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation -Make Up For Ever HD Skin Undetectable Longwear Foundation -Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Foundation SPF 30 -Revlon ColorStay Makeup for Combination/Oily Skin with SPF 15

Setting mist or hairspray sounds like a two for one product. I think I'll just stick with Ben Nye. In almost 20 years it's never let me down. That included a hot, crying jag and being pulled into a white shirt my husband was wearing to settle me down at a funeral. When I realized what had happened I froze because I was in full kit and all I could imagine was me pulling my face away and they're being half my makeup on his shirt. When I finally screwed up the courage to step back, there was no traceof makeup anywhere on that shirt and a quick visit to the compact. All of my makeup was still right where I'd put it including my lipstick.

I fully think that it worked for that, but watch out kissing with the ben nye spray, my makeup may rub off, but it came off in actual clumps. i was at a party and my boyfriend has a short, well-kept beard, i was mortified. it wasnt fixable and the European Pro seal spray (a professional underwater performing mermaid used it in a review) and my makeup has stayed on through and through. I got this, and didnt use it enough to say for sure, but i like the one size spray, even though im very dry.

The one size setting spray for a the best on the market! I have a big one at home and carry a travel size in my purse just in case I’m in a rush and didn’t have time to set my face. The matte primer are also incredible!

The cream bronzer is amazing. It's messy but a lot of stuff is and the setting spray is one of it not the absolute best for a LONG LASTING matte finish. Perfect for having a bullet proof makeup day, if you don't want your makeup to move and stay on through anything, she's your girl. The other items I agree with though. But those two are awesome and worth having. The lip oil is good for what it is too.

I think the elf lip oil is great but who expects it to be the same as Dior when Dior is 40 and elf is 8

Finally someone else think one size isn’t all that it’s hyped up to be! I bought this used it twice and it did work as advertised. it’s still in my makeup bin. If people got sued for false advertisement then I bet they would stop!

The elf lip oil is pretty good and cheaper than Dior

O/S setting spray is definitely the most amazing setting spray I’ve used. I’ve always been oily and a face sweater and it helps a lot with it. Used to never wear full glam to anything outdoors until I found that spray! Definitely works better will full face tho.

The elf lip oil works better than any healing chapstick I've ever used. Before I bought it, my lips were always cracked or peeling. It's 1000% worth it

I understand why everyone says the ELF lip oils are good but I personally do notice a difference in consistency between cheap and pricier brands. And cheap brands usually have a thick and heavy consistency that feels sticky while higher end brands have a lighter and less sticky texture that I have not found in drugstore brands.

I absolutely love the O/S setting spray. The bottle totally looks and spray like it’s a hairspray lol, but it absolutely LOCKS IN whatever makeup I slapped on that day. I haven’t tried any other setting spray that gave the same mattifying effect it does without being caked, and I rly like it

I have the dior and the elf- they are different but I love both for different reasons. I actually reach for the elf one more often because of the feel on my lips and the light tint it has

I have the lys and the elf oils and they’re 10/10, my lys is the only bronzer/contor that works for me (I have dry skin fyi) and the elf oils are omg sooo goodddd they last so long on my lipssss and they smell so good I had recently bought myself 3 new colors cause I love them so much and they’re only $8 compared to diors $40 also I bought my first one the beginning of December and I still have it to this day and I reapply the hell out of it (not cause I need to but because I have a lipgloss addiction 😭)

The elf is definitely not a dior dupe but i love it! its glossy and has better pigment, but i do find that i lose some of the glossiness after about 5 mins

The NYX new brow tint is the best and easiest thing to use. I would tint my brows with Just for men dye and do the mixing and waiting 15mins and washing it out and such but with the NYX I get the tinted brow look with none of that work. Just use an angled brow brush to get sharp lines and once it’s dry, you have brows that last a few days.
