This is the type of glow that I have been leaning into lately: glass-like and more lit-from-within looking. Mesmerize might be the one I go for, or the one you didn't get, as it appears to be a darker gold.

If you like a glow from within, you can try Essence pure nude highlighter! It’s super natural on the skin.

These look really pretty! The Rare liquid formula is my favorite highlighter because I like a more subtle highlight and I have dry skin so typically I avoid using powders. I almost always grab liquid products over powder but the Pat McGrath highlighter and this new Rare one are the only ones that are tempting me.

Wholeheartedly recommend PMG powder highlighters with dry skin. I picked up Bronze Mirage, one of the ones that came out with the duos, and it’s been getting a lot of use.

I'm oily skin so I've only liked the matte blushes from the line, I'm glad there's finally another powder product.I hope we get powder bronzers & more oily friendly for those of us who don't want anymore glow to our oily face 🥲

I'm pale and have enlighten in the liquid formula and picked up the powder one during early access on sephora since I love the shade so much. Excited to try it when it gets here. Update: it actually just got here and it is a beautiful counterpart to the liquid version. I already had the liquid on and put it on top and it was beautiful.

So glad you did this video! I'm definitely intrigued for sure since I don't like highlights that are too sparkly. My only concern is that I myself am very fair, but I have an olive undertone so the white highlight definitely won't work. I'm hoping the more gold one won't have a cast. Hi pale green friend! Lol I'm right here with you! Paste-y pale and look greenish with a touch of seasick on land in the winter ! Hahaa what foundations have you found that actually match? 🤣 I'm stuck on the tinted moisturizers and a few K beauty cica creams

@@jayg3242 Hahaha I feel you. It is TRULY a struggle, even for me as a makeup artist. I have no match in any tinted moisturizers or cica creams myself. My closest match I've ever had is the original Lancôme Teint Idole in the shade 095. It's VERY pale haha. It's ever so slightly too neutral, but once everything else is on my face, it's the closest match to my neck. I honestly have found no other matches in consumer brands. Sometimes if I have a good undertone in a foundation, I'll use the LA Girl white foundation mixer and lighten it up haha. The pro brand Kett has an olive range that goes quite light, but they only do cream compact and airbrush makeup. Your best bet in my opinion is the Lancôme one or mixing in a white mixer like the one from LA Girl. One day maybe, the industry will remember that we exist...it's not easy being green! (and extremely pale haha)

The Best formula n Lightest Foundation shade match I’ve found so far is Guerlain’s New reformulated Parure Gold Skin in Shade 00C it comes in a Radient n a Matte finish.. it’s Paler than Dior Forever Skin Glow/ or the Matte version in Shade 00 .. I purchased the New Guerlain foundations through Selfridge on line as 😕it’s Not available here in the US 😍But it’s really Nice! 🤍✨

@@jayg3242 Hello from another pale olive! (Though I confess I can get away with neutrals fairly frequently) I can highly recommend the Lisa Eldridge foundation in no.9. I got shade matched at her pop-up store and I have never had such a flawless match. She does a really good job with her undertones and 9 is pale olive and works so well. I confess I still want to get this rare highlighter in the white shade cos I want to look FROSTY.

What I like about this product, is that it gives shine, but somehow still manages to look very smooth on the skin. 😍I'm now closer to 30's and while my skin is in good condition, I have began to be more mindful of the highlighters that I use, because some of the really sparkly ones emphasizes textures. I know the very blingy highlighting trend hasn't been popular in years, but I actually like having shine on my cheek bones, it's just that I don't want the product to emphasize my skin textures too much. Very excited to see these become available in my region.

I bought 2 and I’m not disappointed. It’s the type highlighter I enjoy personally. I’m happy to have a new powder highlighter. I know liquid highlighter is popular but I don’t like them. I like cream blush and bronzer, but never a cream highlighter. 😂 In my opinion they are all pretty light in shade. Even the darkest shade is light on my tan skin. I’m guessing they’ll add to the shade range.

Oh this looks so tempting. Maybe it’s just me but I feel like the Rare Liquid highlighter still has visible mica pieces in it and I just prefer the glow of a product like the Auric Glow Lust. If my favorite powder highlighters are by Becca and Nars, would I like this? Like in certain light do you see mica flecks?
