I like the new much more than the original. I have normal skin for the most part but sometimes dehydrated. The old never stayed on me. It looked ok when applied but lasted maybe 4 hours.. for the price it was so not worth it especially in today's time and age when we have much better foundations in drugstore and the ones with comparable prices to MUFE have skin care ingredients. The new one looks beautiful when applied, does not cling to anything on my skin, lasts all day and looks smooth.. great coverage too..

If you dry and you love your skin skip makeup forever new foundation. The 3rd ingredient is straight up alcohol. When i asked to my manager how is this improve of a formula if theres ton of alcohol in it and can potentially dry out and sensitize clients skin. Her answer was just rude and just told me to sell it. I won’t shut up and ill be honest to anyone who comes at sephora.

I bought and promptly returned the new MUF foundation. I don’t have dry skin and it make my skin look so so wrinkly. I’m telling you, the new Patrick Starr BBB foundation is where it’s at! Please do a review.

I left a comment on GlamGirlChelsea's latest vid. Basically saying that I don't know why they think this new one is a replacement for the old one. It isn't. They could've introduced this HD one as a brand new product and left the original one alone. This new version isn't actually recommended for dry skin. How useful 🙄 They did the same with the Water Blend foundation - they replaced it with the Watertone, which, imo, wasn't as good AND I couldn't find a shade for my skintone. I loved the old one this new one idk about it yet. I’m dry in the winter oily af in the summer. It looked so cakey around my mouth but beautiful far away. I just wish they weren’t getting rid of the ultra hd and would keep them both. I’m wondering if I’ll like this better in the summer. I agree with everything you said about it lol.

The new formula looked like it gave you better coverage and for sure a more Matt look the original was my dewy and less coverage but still looked beautiful.

I like that you compared both foundations. Thanks for the lovely review. I am still wearing a mask to many places. I am not even wearing foundation. Seems strange that so many companies are releasing foundations. I know that they did this in 2019. I guess make up releases are just cyclical.

So far I’m not liking this foundation. I’ve tried it with 3 primers and it does not look good on top of any of them. My texture seems emphasized. I also get very oily in the t-zone. I’m beginning to think it does not work with silicone primers or something I wear underneath it (although my products work with most anything). That or alcohol being the third ingredient is messing with me. I feel the shades are off from the old version too. I got a shade lighter than my old shade and it’s too dark. I’m not hopeful with this one.

So many brands have reformulated tried and true formulas, makes me think it's the supply chain issues. An ingredient(s) is probably either way more expensive or hard to come by.

Brands are doing that because certain products are not selling as much anymore. The market is super saturated and everyone is always trying the “new” thing, so the old is not selling as well. It happens all the time.

If your t zone looked oily/heavy …. Mine looked so cakey in a swipe your fingernail and almost make a serum- kind of way- lol oily skin is so gross and this foundation sucked. The hd was great for oily skin. The new hd also pooled in all my pores. I can see a 100% difference in your new mufe vs old mufe side. The texture shows on the new mufe hd.

I'm not too interested in this one.. shouldn't have changed the original.. I love the MUFE Reboot foundation, I tried a sample... but it has fragrance so idk if I should just get it because my skin didn't break out or have issues from fragrance.

The new one has alcohol as one of the main ingredients too. It’s drying as hell and I returned. I’m sticking to my trusty Lancôme until these stupid brands get their head out of their ass !!! The new launches are shit ! “Clean “ makeup means all preservatives out ! And all “skincare” ingredients in ! Which means you’ll be replacing your products quite often because you will not be able to keep them as long not to mention the formulas suck !

Thank you! A lot of the comments I’ve seen have been celebrating the foundation! It was thick like paint and it made my skin look so old! And very bad looking! It doesn’t look or feel natural on me either; I couldn’t get it to blend. Is the Lancôme one really good? I never tried it. A lot of foundations disappoint me especially with the masks

It’s really hard to tell if a foundation works or not especially it getting messed up by the masks and the way it looks on my skin because of the mask. I’ve not had good experiences with it and also setting powders too haha. It’s so embarrassing when the foundation starts moving!
