I'm sorry but I have palettes from both Pat McGrath and ND and a lot of indie including Gourmand Girls and Glaminatrix and those found in Sephora 13:22 do not compare in terms of multi chromes or color story but yes they are good in their own right. I do prefer Indie to Pat McGrath or ND most of the time, and it does have more to do with the creativity. It's usually not just the packaging design but the color stories tend to be a lot more creative and I would say as of late, that's really proving to be very true. I really like it when you do videos on Indie makeup 😊

This was cool Morgan, thank you and your eye look is beyond beautiful! I have the Haunted palette, the mattes are superb and the shimmers are so smooth, this was my first palette by the brand, I'm so impressed. I bought the Oden's Eye palette by Amanda from MakeupJustForFun, once again so good. I didn't know much about Indie brands until about a year ago, I'm so glad to see more influencers featuring these brands, the duo chromes are so amazing, like nothing I've seen mainstream besides like what you said, PM & ND.

You said these indie brands have the best shimmers - and I agree! Indie can’t be beat with shimmers. What brand would you say has the best mattes? I bought my first Glamlite palette this week - the Mikayla palette. I found it at TJMaxx and thought it was a good opportunity to try the brand. The mattes are absolutely awful. So bad I don’t even want to use it 😞 I’ve tried a lot of brands and have mattes that I like but who makes the BEST?

Thanks, Morgan, for introducing me to a world of indie brands I had no idea existed! I now have a few Oden's eye, including the blue hela ween ghost palette (which is awesome), and I have a list to add to my collection, one at a time. The biggest problem I have noticed is, right after you post a video and I go to buy it, they are all sold out already 😢. Luckily I can wait until they are re-stocked most of the time, but I don't know about these palettes -- each one was prettier than the next!!

Hi i really love your content and i dont know if you already did but you should buy and review some of the Flower Knows colections they are an asian make up brand and they sell blushes perfumes (the blue one from their swan ballet colection is awsome) some eyeshadow pallets some hair clips brushes glosses lipstick and more! i think you would really love them you should really try them if you havent!

I hate the matte shadows from Gourmande Girls. Shimmer and metallics love it but the mattes? No.

I truly am bored. The only truly intriguing new release is midi Xenon. I am bored with the same old green-purple--pink-orange... color stories. Also, I am bored with every indie brand being called indie, but actually being private label-produced over in China's sweatshops and then charging us an arm and a leg for their cheap-ass to produce make up.
