this is so accurate. the reason why freshmen are all hype is because they are so excited for theor first year and looking forward to new experiences and making new interacrions. seniors on the other hand have such a pessimistic attitude approach because they are so over with high school after 3 years of hard work, teachers, drama, etc and ready to go off to college to feel free to do whatever they want.

College is WAY different than high school. The pressure is so much bigger and you can't always give it 100% because you could easily burn out. Been there, done that.

uh ok that's ridiculous. yes your grades matter in college! some companies ask for your gpa depending on your field, and if you wanted to get into a good grad school its going to be real hard under 2.7 -- plus it looks better on your resume if you can say you graduated at the top of your class not at the bottom, makes you more competitive
