So what can we expect when you're up to date with the warband reviews?
@wtfhammer91604 жыл бұрын
Working on a balancing project to have all warbands be relatively competitive in a 'play out of the box' format; particularly good for casual play with inexperienced people. That's the only real project I have besides responding to new releases/updates. Will also make a S1-3 tier list video, and continue that trend after each season

@@wtfhammer9160 you could make tutorials and deck building for beginners. And do we need every warband and expansions to be competitive? I bought a couple shadespire and nightvualt warbands because I thought they looked cooler. But someone told me their cards are no longer allowed for competitive play. If true, I might just buy direchasm and start collecting from this season on. And wait for next rotation.

@@txta786 Whether or not you need every warband (and its universal cards) depends on which format you're playing: Relic (Yes), Champion (most common type played - ideal is to have all season 3 and season 4 cards), or Vanguard (only season 4 cards). warhammerunderworlds.com/organised-play/ explains the modes I could make a tutorial, but it may take a few weeks :)

@@qk41024 I haven't updated my deck in a month or two... and with the rapid new releases I don't have an up to date one. I changed my ranking to S when Headkrakka's Madmob was announce and it was determined they had cards that involved the Primacy token. This made it clear that the Primacy token will continue to exist after Season 4. Since Morgok's are amazing at Primacy play, it gave them a big boost.

It s really funny because this warband at first look seems to be an aggressive warband (because orrucks = killing spree in general) for me it's an illusion, they are way better on holding objective/passive play and attacking important target. I'll never played my orruck aggressively cause i know that it depends a lot on the dices and luck so the deck will never be everytime reliable. They are really good at repositionning and defensive strat with their actions and cards. And Slickrock/distraction doesn t bother them after the first phase (when you know how to play them)
@wtfhammer91604 жыл бұрын
They have passive potential, but definitely thrive in aggressive play. They are not optimized for scoring a lot of passive or positional glory, especially with the low unit number.

@@wtfhammer9160 if we take just the in faction cards yes i mostly agree but they aren't good at it sadly. If you like aggressive strat rippa is a way way better choice. With the action of morgok, the defensive tools they certainly take and hold position pretty nicely and put everytime pressure on the enemies fighters. So you can create some beautiful decks with them and have some nice plot twist on the table.( I say that by experience) This band rewards you a lot for planning far ahead on the table. You need just to think all the actions you need to do and when it is the right time to do in a phase. I know that with the neutral cards right now and I think in the futur(season on season), they will stay reliable on the table without being aggressive dependant.

@@guneath8882 Obviously you could play them in any way. I have seen positional Ironskull's be fairly successful as well. However, These guys' positional game is relatively weak compared to many other warbands, and can do okay with the current meta of positional cards because they are quite versatile. If ever the meta is less conducive to score immediate positional cards, or low-unit number positional cards then these guys would not thrive in that environment. Where these guys will consistently excel is their damage output and durability. These guys are very intimidating on the advance, and I see this as their big picture advantage. But yes, you're right, there are options besides aggression if they choose to go that route.
