REALLY wish they at least kept Sherlock saying "I've finally caught you" when he actually caught Moriarty midair. X(

The manga haven't finished yet. The ending of the final problem are also different from the animation. The whole moriarty team are being mi6 too (except Albert, he is having punishment and Moran was missing ). Sherlock returns and meet with them and his brother. Told them the things about William.

If I may ask, is that part you mentioned supposed to be an epilogue for the whole story, or is the story still far from finished? I might be interested in reading the manga if the story still hasn't ended until the part where you said that Sherlock had told everyone about William. This story is really good!

@@movingartillery5718 There hasn't been any announcements about the manga ending and since there's still things that need to be resolved we can assume that this current arc is not the end

@@movingartillery5718 No problem. I recommend reading from the beggining since the anime skipped and rushed a lot of arcs and even erased characters that appear in this current arc. You can find the chapters in mangaowl. Oh also, be prepared for "The Hunting of the Baskervilles" arc cause it's very gory.

Definitely Sir, you should read the manga, everything would be cleared up in your mind. Even I read the manga after the episode and learnt in depth all the things and stuffs. You would be shocked.

Overall it's a master piece. I love this story, and Sherlock Holmes, and I love the concept of seeing this is a different POV which is Liam. Now that I am done the anime I feel empty for finishing this show, but luckily there is the manga I'm in the middle of reading and it's not finished yet. I felt William's burden and how i cried for his sake. this show reminds me of Code Geass.

I still cannot believe it has been 1 year since Moriarty the Patriot fandom existed. It needs more acknowledgement, this anime is a hidden gem.

You should definitely read the manga! I recommend reading from the beggining since the anime skipped a lot of arcs and rushed a lot too. The manga develops the side characters more and also Sherlock's and William's relationship.

The lonely heart arc is leaving the door open for a Pt 2 of the manga focusing on the group doing international covert ops and cases.

I feel like they planted enough seeds to imply that Moran could've followed along the same way he did in the manga. He speaks about carrying the cross with Albert, and when we see him in the end you have that line "my determination remains unchanged". Both of these hints are crucial for Moran's journey after The Final Problem, and a big part of us understanding how he feels towards William and deals with his loss. Now, I could be reading way too much into this, and it doesn't even matter in the grand scheme of things because the anime is over, but I feel like it's a way of carrying over for the people who may start reading the manga from this chapter onwards. For anyone interested, the follow up to the anime's ending starts in chapter 57, but I'd highly advise you to start from the beginning since the manga goes much more in-depth on character, including background stories for both Fred Porlock (The Hunting of the Baskervilles - chapter 10) and Colonel Sebastian Moran (The Man with the Golden Army - chapter 12), as well as relationships, motivations, and plot structure.

As if July 5, there are currently 7 manga volumes released in english. You can read all 72 chapters online however. The ending of the Final Problem in the anime is different than the manga. I definitely recommend fully reading the manga as whole, as there were many unanimated scenes.

Gotcha! Thanks I may have to do that I was hoping for a Season 3
@cynthia-nh2zq2 жыл бұрын
@@Nickncredible Believe me, we all want it !! 😭 However, the animation company made sure to only animate up to the final problem. Additionally, they excluded many important chapters such as Moran’s backstory, Miss Moneypenny (as a whole), Louis’ thoughts/feelings, Albert’s mental state, William’s mental state, etc. The manga is terrific!! The fandom has a saying,, “You haven’t fully seen Moriarty the Patriot until you’ve read the manga.” Which I agree with fully, from chapter one to seventy-two it’s a spectacular rollercoaster
